Just a brief email to let you know that we are releasing the Star-Spangled Shadows print today via www.PaperMonster.net

This is a print of the iconic flag from the Lost in Glimmering Shadows show in London.

An edition of 300, signed and numbered prints. Painted and printed here in the studio with Acrylic and Silkscreen Ink on a thick, luscious paper stock. Dimensions are 23in x 38in (58cm x 96cm). Priced at $350.

I'm confused about the book... are the pages the same for everyone? (have copies of the originals been made?) or is each book unique, containing original artwork?

Confused about the book also. If they are originals and they each did 4 originals each then the list of artists do not feature in each book!

I have this in my cart but not sure what I am getting for £300.

they are nit original.. the original art submitted by 20 artist were original and screenprinted. Not sure an artist can or will replicate an original 80 differ times

I would have preferred one of the other images from the Glimmering Shadows show.
This flag was a MASSIVE canvas there and pretty cool.

But at least they tried hard to give a cheap price and a decent run!
Twice as many prints as the last 2 releases at half the price... Banksy could learn a lesson from that!

It's a more realistic price to reflect the economic climate and possibly the fact that people don't just automatically follow the herd and buy any old crap anymore? However, image not one for me after a couple of minutes reflection. Not bad - just not for me.

EDIT : it is still $105,000 in the back pocket though. Higher edition (and only 2 colour printing) makes up for smaller price.

"The premise of the book is simple. A handful of artists from across the globe were invited to submit four handmade pages representing their interpretation of the theme "love sour love". The only guidance provided was a strict color pallet of black, white, and any shade of green they found appropriate. The result is a book full of varied printing styles and paper textures."

This would indicate (to me at least) that each artist provided 80 sets of 4 pages each... and these were incorporated into the book.
