Having said that I can't believe that there are so many on ebay!? This is not a short term flip is it? Must be worth holding onto for a few years until Faile make it big no?

as always flips within the month can go for silly money then everything calms down and either goes for cost +/- 10% or less
don't get hot headed about anything here. Love Failes work but this is an atypical example of there work and therefore probably not the seminal/iconic image as is being talked up......IMHO of course

read that too at some point but have never seen anything of it - I think it was more expensive than the green book which is a steal - they could have sold it for 1500 or 2000 not to me but ...

How in any way is this atypical of Failes work? The original really stood out amongst atypical faile? Please qualify your reasoning?

Sometimes there is no time to ask your wife , girlfriend , husband , boyfriend , room mate , partner , etc. what they think of a piece of art if you think it is going to sell out instantly and you have to make a split decision on 1. if you like it and 2. if you can afford it. I bought the FAILE flag yesterday and I absolutely love it and when I showed it to my wife and asked her what she thought about the piece she said "it sucks". I didn't have the heart to tell her that I already bought it and it will be on our wall in a few weeks. As they say it is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission. I look forward to when it arrives - let the games begin. No I am not creating the introduction to a possible flipper scenario. I love it and I am not selling it -

The book sold out much quicker. The prints were floating around for a few hours with people playing with them in their carts.

had the book in my cart , but was to expensive for me as boiler broke down in the house. hummed and harred about the print and got it in the end, somethink that i do like about it ,defo go down as a faile classic

Long time gone.
It was never for sale through that gallery.
Most pieces on that site are not for sale - just for the illustrative purposes, to show their progression, different styles.
Only new ones are for sale - boxes and new canvases, wooden canvases.
I have to say it is a bit confusing. They should state that on the site more clearly.
