I work right next to the Supreme shop in Soho. There's a line of groms standing in the rain awaiting the release of these and I am wondering if they are super limited? The design is really cool, just wondering what the whole deal is with these...if anyone want's one let me know?

I ended up buying one, they were a hundred bucks per deck. Each customer is allowed to buy only one deck.

I have no idea on the size of the edition, I ended up going with the 2nd one because I really liked the spacing of the dots the most on this one.

I have a sneaking suspicion these will not be as limited as everyone is thinking. When I asked the manager at Supreme he had no idea of the edition size and that his boss had all that info...kind of amateur if you ask me. Despite people flocking to the store yesterday they did not sell out. Haven't stopped by today but would be surprised to hear that they aren't selling anymore.

So they sold out of 1 & 2 today but 3,4,5 are still available at the store in NYC. They also said tomorrow they will be releasing all the decks online at their website. www.supremenewyork.com/

I think they're about 1000 of each style. As far as not selling out, the Jeff Koons decks were available for weeks - they sold out but got restocked once or twice. Wasn't until months later when a set sold for thou$ands at auction did people pay attention. Even still, the Christopher Wool, Marilyn Minter, Richard Prince decks were available for a long time even after the Koons hoopla, and those decks were only $78 too if I remember correctly. Hirst is so big though these will be all gone within days, although hundreds will be available on ebay.

I can't blame Supreme for raising the price, but they might shoot themselves in the foot here. For Hirst, I'll spend $100, but in the future, I'll have to very much like the artist and design.

Just stopped by Supreme NYC and they're sold out of all the decks and shirts. the wouldnt give out any info on how many they sold. Shady crew working that NYC store. I'd bet the farm that store employees had first shot at buying sets and/or multiple sets.

If they are I'd say they would go very quickly. It still seems that not these are not common knowledge.
