Me too, really enjoy the fact that you get a much more varied result than most other forms of printing, I wanted these pieces to be like mini paintings rather than just a print

Thanks dellboyy, I'd really missed experimenting with my work, it's so easy to get locked in to a definite way of working when you are stencil cutting

Hmm thats odd, you would have seen 'Time to reflect' on the Castle Arts stand, Hayley and Diana are on the OPUS Gallery stand, I'm being represented by 2 different galleries at this show, apologies for the confusion

Thanks for the feedback, the lines for me are what define the contours of the face, it's hard to photograph as it gives the paintings a hard edge, will get the camera out later and try and improve the look of them so they are more like the originals

Thanks Martin, I must admit that I prefer to work in colour although it has been fun to strip that away and just concentrate on technique and brushwork

Ha ha scary eye syndrome? care to elaborate? I have to admit that I'm a big fan of eyes and the expressions that they can show without the rest of the face present, hope I haven't overdone it!

Was just looking at your work again, and realised it has similarities with James Bakers work with the use of the bold blocks of colour I think a joint show between the two of you would work well.

I can see what you mean, have liked James' work for a while now ever since I saw it on Edge Art, he certainly has a fascination with luminous colours!
