I live in the gulf stream (currently 80 outside) Chippies are better, beer is cheaper (and better). You can buy a five bedroom house for £7k and oh how we love the open roads with just ferrets and the odd tractor....bliss. Ooooo Manchester with the open fields and the country air ;D ;D ;D ;D

Quite nicely executed but I don't get the message in any of them being honest. I suppose some would look quite good as record covers or the like but they wouldn't be wall material for me. The elephant one reminds me of Mau Mau, a lot of the others remind me of Hecox, then there's the quite obvious Nick Walker one (what's the guy got in [or rather, near] his hand, in that one?). Sorry, old chap, I'm quite confused. What are they meant to be about?

Hi Oliver, your work looks really excellent, love all the detail, each time you look you see something new, only thing is I have a real problem with gallerys who put POA on everything, puts me right off, they either know the price or they dont, shame you dont sell direct.

Thank you very much, i'm really glad you like my work. It means a lot. I guess it's kind of hard with galleries, he does know the prices and they are all priced up in the gallery. I guess he just doesn't want people looking on the site and being put off potentially by the price before they have even had chance to see the actual piece in real life. I can see both sides of the argument to be honest. It's a tricky one

Hi everyone, here are some photos of the posters I pasted up in Canterbury a couple of weeks ago on the site of the newly closed post office. Posters are A2. spray paint on paper. Edition of 12. They lasted 5 days before they were taken down, one is still clinging on for dear life! Any feedback welcome

I saw the remnants of those blowing in the streets..you either p**d off the people who sold the post office or someone thinks you collectable as an investment!
perhaps a slightly more defined image, and with a more global message..(petrol in the bowl?) relevant to current geo-political issues and you have the makings of powerful piece.

What are you talking about !!! The goverment are shutting all the post offices ... I think that's the point of the piece!!

I had a look at your work on your website and i really like your work. I especially like the the combination of the soft lines of the figures combined with the very sanitized and straight lines of the city scapes. Escape From the City is my favourite piece........

Who am i to say, but i think you have got a great talent!!

Because I think that image which relates to 'please sir can I have some more' can translate into something bigger than the local issues about post offices...I agree that it's shameful that the P.O's are going, but I just wanted to encourage Oliver to see if he could relate it to something more universally concerning..food..bio-fuel..greedy west...y'know, the usual stuff....that's what I was on about..blimey.

Well not necessarily, there is a good mix of work for people with all different budgets

This is something I created a few months ago in Ashford, Kent as a response to negative feeling towards public art. Over the summer we were lucky enough to have people like Roadsworth, Brad Downey and John Atkin working on public art in Ashford. Sadly the residents just didn't get it and just had closed attitudes.


'NIMBY' created from wood, spray painted and stenciled. 2.5 x 6 mtrs

The elephant represents the fun side of contemporary art and how some can see it as a destructive force. The police are representative of the local residents trying to stop it heading towards the town and causing 'destruction'. The installation references the phrase 'An elephant in the room' whereby something this big should never be overlooked and cant possible be missed
