It's been long awaited (by me at least!) but at last Prescription Art is throwing its doors open for business.

"Oh great, another t**t that reckons he's an art dealer" I hear you sigh... and yes it's true that at the moment I only have secondary market stuff on the site.

But first of all I hope I have some stuff that may interest you. I have a lot of Banksy prints i'm selling for instance, plus a few interesting original pieces.

Secondly, my aim isn't to deal in secondary market prints, but to bring some great artists you may not have heard of to your attention. I have a fantastic print in production at the moment, and by the new year i'll have some new stuff on sale by a couple of amazing artists.

With the people i'm working with on board, i'm really optimistic for the future, so even if there's nothing you're interested in now, please sign up to the mailing list & keep an eye on the site.


Also, from now until next Friday i'm offering 15% off anything on the site. So if you see something that catches your eye, now's the time to go for it!


Also, I am still having a few glitches & problems with the site.... however I can't wait any longer to sort them out. Bear with me to begin with though, & things will be running more smoothly soon.

Yes, it's my site. I'm not sure about the prices being high... they might be on a couple of things as to be honest there's a few things i'm quite reluctant to sell.... but on the whole I think they're fairly reasonable. Remember there's 15% off everything as well.... plus i'll always listen to offers.

Here's a sneak preview of a small part of the crazy first print i'll be bringing out. I'm picking them up from the printers today, but it might be a little while till they're on the site as i've got to get the online shopping part working still.

I only have POA on I think 4 prints. Every thing else has the price on. You can assume that they're more expensive than anything else on the site... but I think that would be expected given which prints they are. I'm not desperate to sell them, no.

It's a fair enough comment.... I must admit I'm not 100% delighted with it myself, but i'll concentrate on getting everything else working right before changing it.

It does look better bigger as it's made out of blister packs & so on. But yes, it's definitely something to improve in the future...



Edit: Also realised my Micallef prices are set too high. I put them in ages ago before they started dropping so much! However i've been trying to change them & the system is defeating me. Damn technology!

Anyway, if there's anything you're interested in, but you think it's too much, feel free to make offers.

Since i have been a forum member you have been nothing but really generous with your huge knowledge of the street art market. i think your open honest approach is really refreshing to hear and you do indeed have a great collection and good taste (apart form that logo). On a general note....I don't know how small galleries such as this ever sell anything. Most of the client base must be forum type people who are fairly clued up as to the current value of prints?!

It may be cold outside, but your hearts will soon be warmed by the sight of our first ever screenprint! It’s a mind-bending Escheresque colony of ‘Creators’ , the character that Italian artist Galo has spent much of the last 10 years bringing to the world’s streets (and living rooms). Some are angry, some are confused. Some delirious. Most are very very stoned.

The print is a thing of beauty of which we are most proud. Thick is the key word here. Thick paper. A thick undercoat of white paint. Thick, glossy trails of paint bringing Galo’s unstoppable pen strokes to life.

A Universe of Confused Creatures

Galo is a blighted being. He is a creature beyond convention; a dolphin with a turtle’s shell. If he cried who would be able to soothe his moans?

A night out with Galo and there are no tears or turtle shells. You sort of have to catch the fin as he swims past, and ride his trip for as long as your body will let you. Galo is a whirlwind.

Aerosol, acrylic or good old Posca pens, give the boy some space and he’ll speak to it; wrap it in colours, offer up his universe and get lost as layer covers layer and history becomes a question of folklore and ink. Galo is art in action and the universe of his creatures is ever evolving, inking its own reflection on the emotions of civil decay.

yes, to be honest i set most of the Micallef prices before they started plummeting. I can't update them all every day to keep tracking ebay. Some things are (fairly) expensive. Some are very cheap IMO. I don't necessarily want to sell all my Banksys at rock bottom prices.

I sold all my other Faile prints in 2 days so they can't have been that expensive. And I don't reckon you'd find one for £275.

Anyway, the prices are a guide. Feel free to make offers. But enough of that.... reselling stuff isn't what i'm concentrating on. Buy a copy of the Galo print.... it's fuckin' awesome and only £75. You really won't be disappointed.

Prices do seem to be coming down abit on most artist prints , but i would say this KEEP all your banksy ,if some one is buying a banksy print they will pay what they can afford . Banksy will keep going up for some time, so its makes it a hard one to call putting prices on a banksy.

The FAILE-STRANGE-ENCOUNTERS on ebay is such a b*llsh*t price some one try to get the most out of a £300 max print.
Thats nice of you to offer Offers on your stuff , just remember to let me know when the dian stuff comes in .
