david choe print, by a4mnt on Sept 9, 2007 1:04:41 GMT 1, Of course, Scavos is absolutely right, they must be vetting the list against the people they think are safe not to resell before they send out confirmation.
Damn, its easier to get into M15 than buy a Choe print.

Maybe it got nabbed by a spam filter. Couple of months back I found my internet provider had one of their own, I just happened to come across it when I logged onto my e-mail through their portal. I was shocked to see what was in there, I had been missing out on loads of e-mails.

It does make you think though doesn't it? 76 prints to a hungry worldwide market; previous problems with flipping; I'd be mightily picky if it was me. If that's possible. Maybe go with gut instinct about the sus ones? I'm sure Kate at Souled Out, Frankie at Camp etc. would tell us how difficult that is though.
Don't you just love semi-colons?

david choe print, by manty on Sept 9, 2007 13:52:24 GMT 1, I hope so too, no email my end either.
I have worked out what my problem is with this buying online prints like this and the faile. I tend to look at the prints before making a decision, which isnt a good idea if you actually decide you like it, and you want to buy it because everyone else has beaten you too it, and they will have a look at the print later :-)

I don't want to buy something I don't like.

david choe print, by Filipino Box Spring Hog on Sept 9, 2007 16:06:11 GMT 1, RATS!!!!!!
I won't say, I can't believe it...but, I really wish it wasn't so. Seems I'll have to be happy with my City Girl 150 I purchased for 5 times the original price on ebay and leave it at that.
I sent Jimmy money in a hurry but, haven't received a refund...I'd imagine he's just busy but, maybe just maybe....
at this point I'd say I've got about a .00001 percent chance I'll be getting one....

nothing coming from the Choe's themselves will probably ever compare to CG150, they just won't have that level of detail.

david choe print, by oddkabob on Sept 9, 2007 18:16:23 GMT 1, Buying prints this way online and then having to wait a couple of days is pure torture. The blog update about being sold out in 10 minutes is going to make me crazy... I was about 8-9 minutes after the email went out so maybe I made it, maybe not. But it's true, you have maybe a few seconds (not minutes) to decide if you like a piece enough to get it. I shouldn't have spent a precious minute looking over the email and images. In the case of the Faile sale, you literally had only a few seconds to purchase (forget about deciding) before most of the new prints were already oversold. Choe seems to have found a way to make purchasing one of his prints pure luck. You just happened to check your email within 10 minutes or didn't, but no one seemed to have any advance knowledge of the sale.
