Nick Walker • Moona Lisa, by Viva Hate on Mar 17, 2008 22:29:36 GMT 1, so now you are all flippers with this print, why buy it if you dont want it? Lots of others who wanted this piece, like Mocksey, so why deny him or other genuine fans, so you can make £150? I bet you, the ones who are flipping this piece, will berate, abuse and torment others when others do the same with the next banksy. None of you guys have a leg to stand on when they do!!! Turn on a dime? I expect to see some serious action on printsland soon! oi oi

couh cough bullshit cough couch

Your morals fail to make you realise, there is a differance between selling to fund a purchase and buying to fund a purchase. Two completely differant things fell

g-man - do you know what a moral is? or are you spouting something you read somewhere because your posts seem confused?
you said morals are for losers then said you thought distinguishing right from wrong was important. isn't that the point of morals?

Its very easy to moan at the people who got one, if you missed out thats bad luck i know you cant be here all times of the day. I was just lucky to go on POW just as they came on and they stuck around for some time. I had to change the name of the thread from WALKER BACK AT POW to what it is now as no one looked at it for 7-10 mins. Once i did the name change there was 50 hits to the thread. Now if you were smart enough to read the thread in those 7-10 mins you would have got one because they were on there for quite some time by POW standards before the word got out.
Moral of the story is - not all my threads are pretentious bullshit and they are all worth reading.
lemons
:-) play nice.

Nick Walker • Moona Lisa, by pezlow on Mar 18, 2008 9:42:20 GMT 1, Anyone moaning about people flipping these should think that they had well over a year to buy one on POW. More than that you could have bought as many as you wanted as there was no limit to the number one individual could buy. If you weren't interested in buying one from POW then you could have bought one from ebay at around cost as well.
If you are a brand new collector who started collecting in January 2008 then fair enough but otherwise the sudden demand for these is caused by only one thing - bonhams.

I agree with Pez. Walker's stuff going for bubble-icous prices at bonhams has somehow made the god awful, p*ss poor prints desireable. These prints, and the black face version were laughed at and (rightly ridiculed) when they first came out. They are no better now. People just see the chance to make a few bucks. No skin of POW’s back, I’m sure they’re happy to shift the prints rather than use them to clean up paint spills on the floor.
