I think the Mona Lisa's been done enough now. Time to move on. Just like it's time to move on from the Star Wars and Che prints from other artists.

Don't get me wrong - Cli Che is top drawer I just think it should be the 'seal' for Che.

Please dont casually lump somebody with OBEY - Mr Fairey is embarrassing himself these days. Hes selling bad print runs as "exclusive" colorways, has a clothing line that uses sweatshops, sells you a ltd print then tries to strong arm you into what you can/can not do with it - oh and most of the stuff hes cranking out from his assembly line is utter crap.

Whats wrong with stuff still being available? Why do you want it to sell out so quickly, its a good thing that we have longer than five minutes to choose something you like. Im glad it doesnt sell out straight away and then get put on ebay.

Very interesting that Nick can sell out a large edition like this, at a price that is in my opinion high, quickly and without the assistance of POW. Personally I didn't buy as there is just no way I could imagine this image on my walls. Respect to the man for the way his career is progressing though.

Great shout ABC it's nice when you can at least have time to ponder wheter you want to purchase. What's your take on why they sold so quickly?

The Moona image that Nick made for Nuart was made into a short film, the film has been viewed on youtube by over 30 000 people... so a few hundred sold isn't that big a surprise.

completely agree, i remember that film from last year, & the amount of interest it drew, so to sell it out is no suprise at all.

What amazes me me is that people think Nick has just come along and suddenly appeared on the scene,great comments from ABC Nu and Tom Jedi ( guys with fingers on the pulse and harldy never negative),this guy has been treading the boards when most of us were still drinking 1/2 pints!

FFs lets all give the guy a break,he's been there bought the t shirt & done it ,allways plugging away producing original straight up art,his time is now..so lets enjoy one of the most approacable,stand up, and honest men out there today.
we all have a choice people...lets not knock anybody..aint life to short for that shite,if you dont like the programme switch off or change channel.

I agree Hugs, for the amount of work that Nick produces he clearly is not shy of hard work and has got the recognition through it IMO.

Nick also manages to keep prices and run size low for most of his pieces. I really enjoy seeing him put out work through his site over the stuff he did for POW... his web.mac.com/nickwalkerz and www.apishangel.com/ sites have work that is far and above the Mona Simpson stuff and if you didn't know, now you do!

ok, looks like my point was missed. Im not slaggin the dude off, i own pieces of his work myself and he's always come across as being more than helpful. Yor probably right about the workshop. I was merely pointing out the speed at which it was shifting. I also stated the point that i spent dec, jan and feb pesterin the dude to buy the print, so i appologise to any1 whose opinion was not the same as mine
