Thanks for your kind words Skelly, feelin a little guilty here mate as I think things have got a little confused.

I don't really want to spill my private life out here but safe to say I have been divorced 3(ish) years, my ex remains my best friend and the seperation was emotionally and financially ok!

It is a knock on effect having two properties to fund etc etc and I don't want to sell a kidney just yet!

I am going nowhere, I will still be keeping a few items that mean the most to me, not necessarily the ones that are worth the most. I also have some pieces lined up that I have carefully considered for some time now and that I would want to keep permenantly!

Basically, there is some extremely good original art available at great prices from the likes of GVD, GED, NEVERWORK, STATIC, CRAZY JAKE, etc etc that I could hang and be very happy with, without having to find £2k every year to insure it!

Alls well with me peeps, if I don't sell, no worries, I have another kidney!! ;D

if any gallery buys from here love to take the nick walker sydney...lol... havent spoken to you PUD but enjoy reading ur posts... good luck for the sale...! if your looking at 105k i would suggest going to companies that do brochures and get all the art pieces you have professionally pictured and then go send to all the major galleries and see what feedback you get... chances are they will forward onto clients they have who wish to remain private and sure someone will take up the offer... have to say got great collection and always loved seeing pic of apish angel...

Just a suggestion! Why not do a one off 'Banksy Forum Auction'. By what i've read so far a lot of forum members are interested in a fare few of your works PUD. It would be a first, I think, but I can't see any problem with it personally. Someone will probably tell me different. It would be a bit of work i'm sure, but following the example of how the major Auction Houses set about their 'Urban Art' auctions it could be a goer! No fees, maybe some generous help off other forum members and the assistance of the moderators it could be quite an event. And who knows PUD you could end up with more than your currently asking. Just a thought! Good Luck!

Like i said maybe its a stupid comment but i think what i have said is the truth.

If you buy a place together i think you should agree to sell up and split it 50/50

But if the wife moves into YOUR house, shes havin a bubble if shes wantsd half of it. Considering you have worked your bollocks of to get the deposit etc etc. You just have to be careful when it comes to paying the mortgage.

I think the safest way is either not get married and save all the money on art or in my case investments or just get a water tight PRENUP

I have another theory but i dont think its right for the board, A bit extreme but you'll only lose a percentage

Hi Pud, why dont you 'raffle' your collection like those people with their house that wouldnt sell?

You could charge £15 for a ticket. Then you only need 7000 people to buy at ticket and you get your £105k.

Someone gets an amazing collection for £15... and the other 6999 (lose their £15)... but get a thrill for the chance to win!!!

Surely there are 7,000 members on here who would pay £15 for a chance at your collection??

[You do have to make it a game of skill and not luck to avoid the lottery commission though... like asking an easy question that EVERYONE gets right... something like... Is Banksy really Nick Walker? or Will there be a SG08?] ;D

Even a fraction of that list would be a stunning collection. Pure class. I'm not in the position to buy any art for a few months but would buy a couple of raffle tickets at up to £50 a pop. Just for the thrill! Good luck PUD.

good idea i would def buy a few

you could hire somwer that all your art work could be seen and the raffle is seen too so no cheating even £30 a ticket (3500 tickets)or £40 (2625 tickets) will get you some nice art

so whens pud having is show and when can we buy these tickets

i think the raffle ticket idea wouldnt work, the charity raffle sold about 7-800? and was for charity and only £5, if the idea suggested here was followed you would be looking at 7000 tickets at £15 each?

good luck with selling the collection though, but i dont think the raffle is the way forward

80 prints!!! not books 80 prints!!! i think they will sell rare signed bankys - micallefs and rare nick walkers some of the stuff puds got you will never see hardly come up for sale
