I think good things have been done and awareness has been raised. I am however extremely disappointed by the people who are now trying to put a face to banksy. They are not succeeding. At all. And that is because they are not so much concerned with making the world a better place for everyone as they are with themselves. And you bet the old banksy guys feel the same way. I was actually referring to Atom Gallery 's comment "B is copying others, its vandalism, its not art, its just shit etc. many of the accounts seemed to have just been made, very strange". Trolls like to hide behind newly created anonymous accounts!

And I get it, some will argue that Banksy made the building look worse in the first place, we all have opinions. I can't stand paint-chuckers though. My 80-year-old gran was attacked by a paint chucker once. Knocked her clean off her bike and put her in hospital. Ok, it wasn't paint, it was liquid cow poo, but it still dried on like paint. Ever since then, I've been like - if you're not making a nice picture with it, you're just making a situation worse. And society is unattractive enough without folk urinating over everything they don't like or understand.

The message can be debated but the placing of the art behind the tree, setting it as a frame is nothing short of incredible.
Like him or not, love the piece or not, this should have been protected and preserved sooner before dickheads throw paint in a hissy fit.

Honestly, considering the size, the meaning, the painting drops, and the matter of the artwork, it has not shocked me. I did not imagine at all this painting under Perspex .. Why ? Trees as graffiti’s, live and sleep, depending of the seasons…
