Don't you guys remember all the hype around the Avant Arte Al Wei Wei releases - the Human Flow, Twitter Bird and Coca Cola Vase.

People were bigging up the release and artist and saying the prints would be worth x10 going forward and vase would be at least £ 20 k !

You know how much they are barely selling at on Tate Ward auctions :-)))

They sell for 2-3x their cost, even in this realy bad market currently.

They absolutely have made allocations to people. That is not to say however that all allocations have been made.

AA to be honest I'm not sure what the discussion is about. AA states minimum 15 will be available as a draw.
So what happens with the other 135? Im not sure but I doubt they will use it as a wallpaper in their office.

AA are good at increasing the Hype, in my opinion they had fewer pre-order requests for the pieces available..... and it pisses me off not having one.

In my opinion it will be like this too, we won't see many for sale in the short term and so they will become more and more precious.
