Okay mate, you be you. Not sure whether you are suggesting i have made it up, and it leaves a little wriggle room hence i suggested 'seemingly' now confirmed. Didnt share the quote as i figured people would prefer to read for themselves.

Agree completely, hence i reacted to your statement that 'people were jumping to conclusions' on this particular subject, which was uninformed and imo incorrect. And fwiw I wasnt 'sucking up', i didnt suggest the release being through Heni was either good or bad. And, as i stated, if you want a print then i hope you get one. 

Anyway, we have wasted too long on the discussion already. Enjoy the book, i read it in one sitting last night. Really enjoyed it, hope everyone else does too.

yes there are some kits but no prices..

I shouldn’t have worried about the book from Heni arriving damaged - I should have been more worried about it actually arriving in the package.

The book is too small for the packaging so my copy slid out of the end without needing to open it up as it was loose and not sealed or taped at the end.

If anyone gets an empty package then they will know why.

I got my copy undamaged (as I just seem to always be lucky! 😉) and I am looking forward to a good read.

The 4000 print is DIFFERENT to the Camo prints.

The 4000 print was printed by Idem Paris and this is the print that Invader is referring to. It will be an edition of 75 and was printed separately.

Nowhere does it say the Camo prints will be released by Heni. Until it does, please stop spreading bullshit. 😉

But I think you are wrong in this case.  It is clear to me in the page that you highlighted that he is talking about the Camo series at Heni.  He specifically calls it his latest series and then goes on to describe it.

The text specifically refers to the print with the Astro Boy. Any references to camouflage is with the 4000 print and not the Camo prints.

I’m confident in my assessment of what I read.

He says 'Now' as if changing subject after talking about 4000... this is a meandering conversation with Hans Ulrich Obrist around the exhibition space, so clear definitive markers are nuanced... (deffo should be a paragraph break if this is indeed the case to help clarify subject matter...)

He then goes on to say '...this is my latest series'. 4000 isn't a series, it's a one off print.

And then the next few paragraphs are explicitly talking about camouflage in direct reference to that key sentence you highlighted in pink... 

Semantics aside, if you are right and he is publishing the 4000 print via Heni, it would only make sense to follow suit with the Camo prints considering the vast numbers he and his small outfit are going to have to manage...

It would only be properly clear if the text said Camo (as a 4 letter word with a capital C). It’s not conclusive yet so should not be treated as such. This was written on all of the cards, which the author would have read.

I am not sure why you won’t just accept what it says, what all evidence points to, and what everyone else can read. You are making a counter case for no apparent reason from what I can see. He is clearly speaking about camo being release by Heni (in french) , and he does not have the logistics/staff to manage that much stuff in once , i guess some people reading this forum have much more information about what's going next but waiting it's official and posted by the man himself personnaly would kill to add that idem (love this guys) print which was suppose be to released at 4000 oti show but printmaking took too much time , patience !

What I interesting and noticeable with hindsight is that the variations use a similar numbering/lettering to Heni’s usual approach ie H9-1 to H9-8 for the vitues

This got me thinking.

When did he first advertise that these camo prints were "coming soon"?  I think it was before the Paris exhibition opened, wasn't it?  So that would be...January?

Unfortunately on this occasion I'm going to have to respectfully disagree too.  It even has a superscript number, 120, that refers to an image of the camo prints on page 157.

It doesn't confirm for certain but it definitely implies that Invader believes thats what is going to happen.
