Invader • Camouflage Prints, by Londown 01 on Dec 1, 2024 21:58:47 GMT 1, First, I don't hate all about it: it's good that it is proper prints on proper paper; the XL is alright, and the small ones are good entry point Invaders. I don't like the repetition in motif, the fooling and goading of potential customers, and the sheer ridiculous number. ... it’s a decent release, at a decent price. Seriously, we all know you’ll apply in the same way everyone else will. I just get bored with the games. The internet is full of BS so I see why you would say that. But I don't have the money to play this game; I'm in it just for the love and excitement. Besides, I don't think that my opinion will dissuade anyone.
And about pricing: I think you are wrong. HENI are going for the maximum. This includes selling some for less than current market value to give the impression of this being an opportunity. Invader consciously contributed to their clever marketing strategy. Eventually, they are making ca. 9 million with a print drop of a relatively unknown artist with a variation of the same image.
It is very clever and well executed: but it puts money before art.

Firstly I appreciate your considered response, all credit to you for that. You are a better man than me.
Re Heni being the big bad wolf, I disagree. Invader is, imo, a bit of control freak. Nothing is happening here that he isn’t approving. That’s how it works. I know it makes some of us uncomfortable but the artist wants to make some money, and collectors want access to prints? It’s a win win. No one is selling anything below ‘market value’ they’re priced to sell. They will all sell. And Invader is not a ‘‘relatively unknown artists’ with all due respect. Heni probably opens up to a be market of higher end collectors but to be brutally honest I don’t care, I have wanted an Invader print for many years. At this price I think it it’s a real one off opportunity (for me personally). That’s my point. I don’t really care how much the tee shirts cost, etc 🤷♂️
I wish the best of luck for anyone going for these, I fear applications will be through the roof.

The comment re putting ‘money before art’, tiny bit ironic when your last post was asking ‘what’s the best buy from an investment perspective’. Glass houses and all that 🤷♂️
