Two things i have noticed about these. The 'blurry ones' look like they have not been printed properly, even though that is the way they are supposed to look. Therefore, on the bigger ones that is much more in your face. In my opinion, they look like a cheap ikea type printed product. On the other hand, the clear ones, look great IMO - especially in the small size. The bigger you go the more they look printed............. glad I bought a small one, a clear small one.

Pink was a brave choice.  I actually like it, especially the dark splashes.  With these spin paintings, I think 'less is more'.

I was on Ebay and was quite surprised to see these for sale, a few of them are quite nice I think. It's an interesting dynamic buying something that the artist didn't exactly make, I wouldn't have a problem with it myself, if I liked it.

Without resale happening, Heni wouln’t see the demand upon initial release; they’re commercial enough to realise this. Still, I do believe they make a genuine effort to assign (some) limited edition pieces to genuine collectors

The Rossetti painting sold for just over £900,000 at Christie's, London in 2014*.



While somewhat of an esoteric reference, I'd been focused on the wall fabric to the left of your photo, which is part of the Melsetter series released by Morris & Co. a few years ago*.

That series was inspired by embroidered bed hangings, crafted for Melsetter House in Orkney, Scotland and designed by May Morris — being the woman featured in Rosa Triplex.
