Invader Rubikcubist Book, by Lroy on Mar 14, 2023 7:42:11 GMT 1, Received my book today ordered from FNAC to USA ... the box was not sealed and found on my step opened already ... somehow the book itself is in great shape. I think that's the definition of luck haha. For the low shipping cost, the shoe fits! Hardcover first edition, or the soft matte cover second printing? Love to see some pics if you got the newer one! First edition is not with an Hard cover ( I have it ) , just I think the second one will have a mat one as heard )...
In the shop here, they have still the first edition. Yes it would be interesiting to see photos of the mat cover so I woulf buy one from the Spaceshop if its a bit different ).

Bubble wrapped around it (but not over the top and bottom, just around the front/back faces) with paper as filler in the box. There's a small "buckle" on the top edge/corner of the spine, but I don't mind too much, my copy is for reading anyway. It was sent via Colissimo and no import charges to pay.

Do you have any idea how much money we would all save???

Jeez… a bit much for a book - unsigned - now… I guess you need to justify the high shipping rates then… My decitre one cancelled, then it's fnac replacement showed up a bit worse for the wear, having been "repackaged" in route. This one had super packaging, but I probably did pay 30 bucks more for shipping than fnac or decitre ones. Was only appreciating the difference is packaging. Honestly would pay the extra 30 bucks in the future to ensure my book is not beat up on arrival. This was a shipper who cares about books. Fnac seems to maybe be French for Wal-Mart. |

I've been lucky a few times but never asked for anything. On my 3 signed ones, I just asked one time. It depends too if Invader is around. One time he gas been angry against him as I posted one on Insta/Facebook tagging him. In fact he prefers secrecy ( otherwise everybody would ask ). Anyway I’m not the only one who got some. I think that he knows you a bit mate because of the « tile revival » - I keep it I like that -, but I don’t know your story. I just know that artists Street artists prefer a lot secrecy and to be discreet. They are right ! We are thousands and so many gossips sometimes , on forums per example :-) Me ? No …. :-D |
