mandem • daniel - most recently it was Conor Harrington. Nothing in 'UAA' menu, nothing under 'UK' where he's based, nothing under 'Europe' where he's from, and not worthy of a top-level Nav tag. No 'search' function until you're in a sub-board. So where??

Daniel Silk • Mandem, can you give me an example of a specific thing that your trying to find?

mandem • @sandinista - you have to go into a sub-board (ie not homepage) and then search within that. As to where you'll find what you need, who knows!

mandem • daniel - the'yre not 'the best way' at all, as most of the new posts aren't of interest to many; we want to find specific things but the menu structure is so terrible there's no way to do that!

Daniel Silk • New Threads, New Posts, buttons are still there, at the top of every page, can't be easier than that. Yes they are the best way to follow the forum that's why we encourage you to use them.

mandem • dundun - it's still there, luckily. The rest of the thread heirarchy is such a mess that it's the only way to look at the forum now

dundun • Please bring back the new threads/post function. It's going to keep me from visiting here if I have to click on tons of different categories just to keep up. This new layout is horrible and very overwhelming.

Daniel Silk • Hi Richard, sorry about that, I have now fixed that issue in the thread you mentioned. Thanks for pointing it out.

Richard • I commented on a Conor Harrington topic and it's the only comment made in months...and yet the thread hasn't moved to the top and is still on page 2 of the Conor Harrington board. Makes no sense at all.

Richard • Im confused why when you comment on a post it doesn't bump the thread to the top.

Daniel Silk • Mandem, I agree, it's half half at the moment, it will take a little time to sort out into its final layout as we have thousands of threads to deal with.

mandem • The board layout is awful as it is, don't make it worse by amalgamation of threads that just confuses everything further
