After yesterday's glitch/heavy traffic they surprised dropped today via IG.  I too sent messages with no responses.  Once live, I watched it for 20 minutes before it sold out.

To the gallery's credit, I messaged them when the initial drop was going awry and they were apologetic. The next day, when the issues were resolved, they did message me letting me know that the prints were live and ready for purchase. I had the opportunity to buy, but decided I would pass on this one.

Has anyone received their Zberro print? I opened mine up today to flatten and I was disappointed that one corner is bent (noticable with the hand deckle edges). The gallery rolled the print with tissue paper on the print side and insert into the tube. No craft paper, no protection.

I had the same issue - clear dent marks where rolled by the person. Gallery Owner just said return the print if I was not happy - that would mean I absorb the import duties plus Vat plus the cost of sending back ! 😳

The worst packed print ever.. mine was recieved damaged …the print was just rolled and placed in the tube … no tissue paper or anything to stop it moving ….the end cap was actually inside the tube, inside the print ….recieved a full refund including return postage costs and fees …eventually!!!!

I had the same issues with this print. Kept mine, because I really like the image but this is definitely not the way to pack a print correctly!

No issues with mine. Came packed well and there were no flaws. No flaws or flaws or flaws.

Well I requested a replacement litho from the gallery and I'm disappointed in their response (but not shocked given the comments above). I was told to frame out my bent corner even though I mentioned floating the litho. Or I can send the litho back and pay €1800 for one of the APs.

In my past international purchases I've never seen such poor packing. At the gallery price of the litho it should have been shipped flat.

Also, I hope Idem and Ryo blacklists the gallery.

That’s exactly what they told me to do ! Just frame it and it will
be fine !! Totally stuck up there own arse gallery… message ryol
studio direct and complain. They will contact the gallery. Basically called me a liar despite the 15 photos I sent them of damage. Even threatened me with their lawyers ! I wouldn’t buy anything from them
again ! Arrogant pricks

Ill prob get blacklisted by this gallery for saying this, but honestly if this is how they treat customers so be it.

If your item came damaged and they refuse to issue you a new one, dispute it with your credit card. 80+% of the time and 99% of the time if you buy a lot on that card and have a decent bank you will be refunded. You may or may not have to return the damaged work. Most the time the card could care less and then it becomes the sellers problem to pursue.

I would never do this with an honest seller or a gallery that's trying to work with you, but if they sent you a damaged item and gave you a big FU or pay more to correct it with an AP, to each their own, I'd go the credit card route and tell them to shove it.

Their lawyers? They are going to file an international lawsuit over $1000? I can't get 90 minutes of my lawyers time for that and they are going to fly lawyers all over the world to file suit over $1000? Lawyers fly first class..

Anyways sounds like a bunch of kids started a gallery and happened to land an up and coming artist. If he's smart he will move on fast
