KENCUT WRITES ABOUT HIS NEW WORKS:

The concept of the works shown is rooted in the Hindu concept which likens the soul or Suksma Sarira to a small spark of God and the human body, known as Raga Sarira, to be a mini version of the universe or the Macrocosm. All the basic elements that exist in the universe, as well as reflections in the human body such as the Earth element (Pertiwi), the water element (Apah), the air element (Bayu), the warm element (Teja), and the space element (Akasa). This concept is known as Panca Maha Bhuta, or the main constituent elements of the universe and the human body.

Kencut presents the work of A Thousand Star Series which displays 2 different close-up faces stacked into 1 and seem like the Infinity symbol, with a spray paint technique, another exploration technique from his work. Adopting a pointillist style, the figures appear borderless. He likens this visual experience to gazing at a sea of stars, and each point represents an element of the vast universe and unlimited. Kencut symbolizes the universe is there in every human being.

Now that you've checked the condition, I think it's no longer new! We never place weights like these, especially not across the width; you're going to create small folds, damage the paper – in short, it's not good.
