I’m doing the only thing I know how to show my support and help, where I can, the people of Ukraine.
With the help of bristol print studio Helloblue I'm releasing an unsigned timed edition of high quality 30cm x 30cm 315gsm fully archival, fine art giclee prints of my recent painting in Cardiff in aid of (DEC) disasters emergency committee.

The prints will be released on Friday 18th March at 5.00pm via the online gallery www.3030print.co.uk and will cost £100 including free worldwide shipping. 100% of the profit will go directly to Disasters Emergency Committee. Your £100 print could provide emergency food for two families for one month.
A huge thanks go to HelloBlue who are producing the print and to 3030print who are releasing the print at cost.

It was put to a vote of the original purchasers of the Test Press Series. The majority approved. This is hopefully quite exceptional circumstances but I suppose it does set a bit of a precedent for bringing the screens out again for the right cause. They look very smart in the yellow and blue to be fair.

For me the second one is great, but wouldn’t go on the wall.
The heart is much more likely to get framed.

edit : anyway, I'm not going to make friends - again - with this post, but some of us, huge collectors or not, artists ( unknon or not ) , flippers ( berk ),  are very ( do you think so ? ) " happy "- despite the drama and the tragedy, the war what -, to see all the contemporary artists and other street-artists, creating works (blue and yellow this time) against the war, for Ukraine and for charities.

Let's not be hypocrites, art revives, through art itself, creation and contestation. And every day, we wait for what contribution (not so expensive for those who have money, and quite talented it must be admitted) will be made today.

We are not happy about this war but we are waiting for the beak, like young birds that have fallen from the nest, like for example FЯ who is waiting for his Banksy.... Cui-Cui  !

Clown did send out an email asking the triptych owners if they agreed to a special one off to support Ukraine. I'm baffled some people actually objected, but the vast majority gave the go ahead. I think what Clown should have done however is destroy one existing set to shut up the haters for good.

Clown have launched a one off reprint to raise funds for Ukraine. Bidding now open at Tate Ward:

We are putting up a special one-of-one version of our Test Press Series designed by Banksy for Clown Skateboards, produced in the colours of the Ukrainian flag. All proceeds will be going directly to The BRC Ukraine Crisis Appeal.

You can read the full origin story here but suffice it to say we were only ever going to produce 100 sets of that series. However, there was a small matter of how we responded (as millions all over the world have) to the resulting humanitarian crisis springing from Putin’s war on Ukraine. We had made a promise to our Test Press Family that we would retire the acetates after the run but we couldn’t just stand by and watch this man-made disaster unfold, so we put it to a vote. We contacted all buyers and the majority responded. They were in for “one last job”.

90% were in favour and there were some who didn't agree with it (a few of whom gave well-argued responses); but that's why we asked the question in the first place. Should the results have been reversed, we wouldn't be doing the run.

What we would say is that while we are fully aware of the hypocrisy in certain quarters of the western media, this is not a reaction to war in our backyard.

This is a humanitarian reaction to a very real and present concern.
