Phillips Art Auctions, by loui on Jun 1, 2024 21:35:52 GMT 1, I'm not sure I could ever forgive Banksy if he had to stoop that low to rip off that Whatson fella. Luckily Banksy did a cheetah similar to this one as part of his NY residency in 2013 I took this at Cans back in 2008. He’s improved. The one in the hotel is much more detailed. It can’t be said of some of the real rip offs he did.

Nope not just you, limoncello, beer, sangria and vodka. It’s a great night 🤣

Phillips Art Auctions, by Wanchope on Jun 6, 2024 19:44:21 GMT 1, Hey all got my eyes on a piece with Phillips auction house and I asked them to give me a clear illustration of my expenses as a buyer. Can anyone explain what a hammer symbol expense is for?
basically they said 1.) Buyers premium 27% 2.) VAT on that BP at 20% 3.) ARR - 4% 4.) Hammer symbol - 5% of hammer
is this not just a duchebag move to increase the BP to 32%?
I then looked for this symbol in their terms and conditions and it doesn’t show that symbol or what it’s for?
I should have been an auctioneer!!!

Phillips Art Auctions, by Georgie Poppit on Jun 7, 2024 9:13:36 GMT 1, Second half of Phillips editions sale today. Based on yesterday’s results there are bargains to be had. A full set of 5 Hirst Empresses sold for just £7k. Definitely a buyers market.
