Bought it and it's probably one if my favourites on the wall. Something about the big 'tiles' he used for these two which I haven't seen in much of his other stuff.

haha, its soooo expensive, we had a Mcdonalds on the drive back from a skiing trip, think it cost us about £100 for the 5 of us, seemed like a good idea at the time

86 x 61cm sheet. Signed and enscribed AP recto and archivally framed with artglass.
The condition is generally very good, there is a feint crease with very light paper skimming to the lower centre of the sheet, approx 3cm and very fine (refer to below picture), it is only visible under very close inspection and appears to be from either pressing or restoration, it really has little impact on the enjoyment of the work.
Can meet in London or ship at buyers expense. Plenty of references.
I'm asking SOLD. Here are some pictures and the last two auction results.
Sotheby's Mar 21 - £8,775 with ARR, VAT and BP, £6,500 hammer.
Heritage Auctions July 21 - $12,500 with all fees (circa £9,000), $10,000 hammer price (circa £7,250).

Clearly if a nice desireable item comes up on here then the usual suspects will be interested and if you can agree a deal with the seller before they do then it should be concluded as a gallery / dealer will do what they do and slap a premium on it.
