Visit PARIS ๐ซ๐ท France Street Art, Galleries, Events, by slowmo on Jan 5, 2009 16:12:12 GMT 1, Just returned from a weekend in Paris. Had my eyes open for street art and took some pics. Loads of invaders, but took just one picture of his stuff. Didn't see loads but did see a couple of legends.
I think this is a toilet on some sort of woodcut. It wouldn't have warranted a photo if it wasn't for the fact that this was absolutely everywhere! In the Pompidou, Rambuteau (pardon my spelling), St Germain, Monmartre, Bastille and everywhere! If anyone has any info on who done these, would be interested, a hell of a campaign.
Unknown Artist, Giraffe, St Germain
Unknown (Solo?), Lady with hair paste up, Rambuteau
Nature's Revenge, Rambuteau (was pleased to spot one of these as he/she posts here and on wallcandy. Looked very fresh, still wet (taken 4th Jan if you see this, was it new?)
I'm guessing Invader, Rambuteau. Could have taken a million of these, they were everywhere, but this was my favourite.
Miss Tic, St Germain. Was well pleased to see one from her. Can anyone translate for me please?
Nemo!!! Again another one of the wanted to see for myself in Paris! This was sweet and just down the road from Pomidou in Rambuteau, very festive. Also notice those toilets again!
Hope you guys enjoy the photo's as much as I enjoyed finding them.

Visit PARIS ๐ซ๐ท France Street Art, Galleries, Events, by slowmo on Jan 5, 2009 17:26:42 GMT 1, Cheers Ross. Cant believe mods moved this here! Fxxk me if I had done the artwork I bet it would still be on the general thread. I was trying to do the forum a favour and take pictures in Paris where few people will have the chance to see them and as we all know most of the forum people look on the general thread. Nice one.

Visit PARIS ๐ซ๐ท France Street Art, Galleries, Events, by Nicone on Jan 8, 2009 11:45:32 GMT 1, An approximative translation would be : "Make a word become the beautifull lover of a sentence". It's quite hard to translate since, as always with Miss Tic, it's quite poetic.

Visit PARIS ๐ซ๐ท France Street Art, Galleries, Events, by doublehelix on Jun 16, 2009 15:13:24 GMT 1, I'm off to Paris for a week tomorrow.
Already planning to see the Warhol exhibition, but is there anything else - especially street art related - on that's worth seeing?
Also where is the best area to head for to see stuff on the streets?
Thanks in advance.

and Pรจre Lachaise Cemetery
all a bit morbid, i know, but worth a visit.

Visit PARIS ๐ซ๐ท France Street Art, Galleries, Events, by Eton Groover on Jun 16, 2009 16:39:30 GMT 1, I went to pere lachaise.
Unfortunately it was after I had checked out of my hotel and I had my wheelie suitcase in tow.
Didn't realise that the whole place was cobbled.
Talk about waking the dead!!
People were standing peacefully contemplating death, art, beauty etc at the grave of Chopin, Jim Morrison or whoever else and then......DUNK, DUNK, DUNK, DUNK, DUNK, DUNK, DUNK as I came clattering round the corner.
I wish I had a video. I must have ruined the experience for hundreds.
Quick tip. Don't visit with your suitcase.
