Visit PARIS π«π· France Street Art, Galleries, Events, by fr0wh3r3 on Oct 26, 2017 8:54:24 GMT 1, L'AΓ©rosol, Maquis-Art Wall of fame is a place in Paris where paintings change regularly. This time, the theme seemed to be the mafia. I did not find a list of current artists. There is a museum too, but it will be for a next time.
free entrance, 54 rue de l'Γ©vangile 75018 Paris

Visit PARIS π«π· France Street Art, Galleries, Events, by Cardiff on Feb 9, 2018 19:21:15 GMT 1, Spending a long weekend w/my wife in Paris in a few weeks. We're staying at Prince De Galles, and are planning to check out the Inti show, Louvre, LV, etc.. We are all set for restaurants, but would be interested in cool galleries, museums, shopping areas, or other worthwhile sights.
Let me know if you have any suggestions?
Merci!

Visit PARIS π«π· France Street Art, Galleries, Events, by chevyav53 on Feb 9, 2018 19:49:35 GMT 1, A must is to walk around Montmartre, not only is the SacrΓ©-CΕur amazing but there are tons of art shops, street artists and amazing food up there.
Then a place I stumbled upon while walking the streets was Le Timbre, a little restaurant, tiny. Great atmosphere and food was amazing.

Visit PARIS π«π· France Street Art, Galleries, Events, by gd79 on Feb 9, 2018 20:26:25 GMT 1, Left bank for an afternoon of walking around. High end art, but we can dream. If you go on a Sunday you'll see all the middle aged men out with their young mistresses... Some sight.
Also remember that a lot of shops close on a Sunday.
I almost always eat in the Japanese district. Best ramen and sushi in Europe.

Visit PARIS π«π· France Street Art, Galleries, Events, by Lroy on Feb 9, 2018 20:28:39 GMT 1, Orsay of course , with beautifulβ Van Gogh and other impressionists, there is also Lβ Origine du Monde from Courbet , and the place, an old railway station is magnificent ... Near Bastille or Le Marais good art and streetart galeries and foods. Take the underground line 6, ( by Denfert Rochereau ) you donβt need a traveler organism or tour operator : for the price of a ticket, you will see in the 13 th area, all the buildings paint by Obey, C215, Invader , Faile, etc .. then ( it s and open and high underground line ) you will see the Eiffel Tower and will stop at the Champs ElysΓ©es ( I donβt know which shops you are looking for and what is your budget anyway ) ... La Butte Montmartre , in the other direction ( still line 6 but in the other side ) , some painters in the street, the old Paris as in movies. Maybe Dran outside but not sure Quartier Latin is cool too , anyway all around the streets you can have a look on Invader tiles ! MusΓ©e Picasso , not far from Bastille/Le Marais is a beautiful place too .
For shopping there is Les Halles , but well, as boring than in the 80 lol ! My best area was Denfert Rochereau ( you can have a stop there ) , good restaurants, Les Catacombes ( 1 hour walking under the streets of Paris in the alleys full of bones and real skulls etc .,, and Montparnasse cemetery... ) Well you should tell us what you like I guess

I lived there. I remembered : before it was only the morning of the first Sunday of the month lol ! I passed there a morning in the week and there were queues : so I think that they have democratized their opening times ( prices look expensive anyway now 15 euros ) Itβs a fantastic place but I wonβt never go there again, you have to donβt suffer of claustrophobia ! What a hell ! Real skulls and bones anyways as it was the cemetery of around billions of people from the 18th century because the lack of space up ! Near 2 kilometer of walking. Google it for the opening time ( before you can go alone alone lon- still the case ? Etc etc .., every hour I read .. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catacombs_of_Paris

Visit PARIS π«π· France Street Art, Galleries, Events, by gd79 on Feb 9, 2018 21:33:40 GMT 1, No city tops Paris for art.
My number one art experience was standing in a completely empty room, with just me and the Mona Lisa.
But it stretches across the centuries... Right up to invader and urban. The best photography fair anywhere as well.

Just look up at every street corner.
You can also find some nice pieces around the Sacre Coeur. Which is a nice area to walk around anyway.
