ABOUT EXHIBITION
StolenSpace are pleased to welcome world renowned artists, D*Face, Kai & Sunny and Shepard Fairey in an unique collaborative exhibition.

The artists have enjoyed a longstanding relationship throughout the decades, which has now sparked the idea of a collaborative exhibition. It is completely fitting that these three artists should display their work together, with each being inspired by nature, relationships and, the politics of the world. These themes are woven together by their shared expertise of design led graphic aesthetics and clean line-work. Their individual yet complementary styles have developed over time alongside their friendship; starting from a shared college experience between D*Face and Kai & Sunny, which led to Kai & Sunny’s first exhibit held at StolenSpace Gallery, to the 20 year long friendship between Shepard Fairey and D*Face, and Kai & Sunny exhibiting and collaborating with Shepard Fairey at Subliminal Projects in L.A.

The recurring themes of unity and nature in each of the artists’ work, can be used to visually explore the power of nature as a force for change, as it encourages humanity to come together as one and inspire a romanticisation of a better world for the future generation. The current climate we are living in demands the need for human connection and consideration of our planet and ourselves.

This exhibition responds by uniting the talents of three styles, and friends, who can express these issues through the powerful medium of their art. Consisting of around 30 collaboratively worked pieces , including a collaboration printed edition, this show will be a truly unforgettable, shared narrative.

Some of those pieces look absolutely superb - and im sure they will be of the highest quality.

Im not big on collabs but I cant see any of the pieces that dont work together

Pity im not in town soon to take a look as i bet they look even better in the flesh

I think the Andre looks superb. Really works well.
The others posted so far are not so much my cup of tea.
Like Graham H, I’m not a huge fan of collaborations either.
Hope all is good with you Graham H, by the way.

Agree. I think because the Andre is more subtle and integrated. The previous two feel a bit forced/heavy handed….be interested to see the rest. Worth a visit I’m sure.

Andre the Giant is great, OG image from Shepp & the simple classic & awesome wing & toung from dface.

...I usually find that collaborations are a bit all over the place when it comes to canvas/prints ect. Rather than street works ĺbut I do like the Andre.

I emailed last Thursday and was told the same but have not had the preview. Even if they have sold out you'd think they would still want people to be kept updated.

I wonder what print/s will be available and when?

I feel they  probably got the  pre-view out to  the  Vips.  I feel  that when we get the  preview it will have  items marked as sold... looking forward to seeing t whats avail.

I believe there's 4 prints available on the night.

Two prints from K&S, one from D and one from Shepard.

From what I know, there are to be two prints from K&S, they're £350 each and both editions of 150. There is also one from D*Face, also £350 end edition of 150 and one from Shep, which I believe is £100 and an edition of 450. The releases will be available in person at the gallery and online with the online release timings staggered. I don’t know the timings as yet but I’m sure Stolen Space will release more info shortly.

Some of D*Face's pieces are (in my opinion) not so great - cutting and pasting over a test litho that's $35 and asking $9000 for it is a stretch. One of them is cross-eyed.

I always forget that their prices are excluding VAT.

There are some nice unique pieces, not sure I comprehend the massive price differences between some of them…?

Not sure why the top of the red diamond touches the border but not the bottom. My OCD is tingling...

Anybody willing to grab any of the prints and ship to US? willing to pay REASONABLE service fee or have plenty of shep stuff to trade as well as other art. I am sure we can work something out.

Saw the pieces, some great work was made for this show. Interesting how the prices vary according to how famous the artist is...
