New Open Edition Mini Prints Available Now. , by mrizzle on Aug 26, 2021 20:17:58 GMT 1, It’s funny that the three of us all immediately gravitated towards the same image and I must confess that this is the one I also bought.

I like the one with the green background and hope I am not breaking the streak 😉

New Open Edition Mini Prints Available Now. , by mrizzle on Aug 27, 2021 8:06:42 GMT 1, I can tell you why I went for Okurimono. Well, the idea was to get the whole set... I heard that there was a special price initially for the set, then I said: "Nah, need to save some money for signed works" I am a bit OCD so Changsegi had a gap at the back of the hair. If there is something I notice the first time, I know my eye will always go there. So I passed on that. I liked Ryosii and likely would have also gone for that one but it's a bit sad looking. My wife wasn;t impressed (all with the women/sad/geisha thing, so I had to pass on that one) Okurimono was the one we both liked. I like the tattoo, the background and the whole ensemble. nice little ones + I seriously appreciate the free shipping! Therefore I would save money for something bigger and signed, considering prices have gone up...
I felt similarly with Changsegi and my eye was also initially drawn both to the hair area that you’ve highlighted and also to an area at the side of her mouth (left hand side from viewer’s perspective) which I found wholly distracting. I quite like Ryosii but if I wasn’t buying the set then I’d rather settle on the one I liked most, in this case Okurimono. Like you, the background, the subject herself and the cherry blossom tattoo all just worked for me. The free shipping is a bonus but they’re still £90 shipped here in the U.K. so I wasn’t prepared to pay £270 for a trio of unsigned mini prints when I really only particularly liked one. That and I’ve got my eye on a few things in an upcoming auction and I’m desperate to land a Brett Kern Woolly Mammoth.
