Hello all

Putting my Banksy vs Bristol Museum Dorothy poster up for sale to you good folks.

Full disclosure, I was gifted this among some other Banksy ephemera by a long time collector I know, and as a result I can’t guarantee validity. I trust the guy, and from the research I’ve done it certainly seems genuine (otherwise I wouldn’t be selling it), but I encourage any buyers to ask any questions they have to be sure.

There’s no POW tube, I was told it was purchased directly from the museum rather than from POW.

The poster is in good condition, with a couple of small creases from storage, very hard to see IMO. I’ve tried to show in the below photos.

It’s standard A2 size, 420x594mm.

I’m looking for £100 plus postage.

That is officially the size. However I have seen people on eBay print reproduction on eBay for 25 pounds. Tred carefully. I was going to bite your hand off at first bargain price. If the size stacked up I'd have bitten the bullet.

That’s fair, I’ve also seen the reproductions. I’ve read 59x42cm as being the official size and the colours are spot on from what I can tell, which is why I’m selling it as genuine.

This has actually sold now but maybe someone who owns one of the other posters can weigh in just so we know?

An art dealer is offering to sell Banksy Bristol museum posters to me and states he has receipts from his purchase via Picture on Walls. I was not aware POW was selling Bristol Museum posters from Banksy. Can someone clarify if this is true?

They surely sold the Copper poster at POW closing.

Yes, the dealer is correct. I bought a full set from POW in April of 2017. Hope this helps. R

Some are 42cm wide others are 38cm.

Ive got a set with receipts and original tubes that I'd sell for £2,000 if anyone wants them!

Getting $500-600 each is possible for hanging klansmen and dorothy, bit less for David $400, even less for coppers $250. I think $1500 is a fair price for a full set with tubes and receipts in a single transaction.
