During the last recession, the impression I got was that with Banks failing, people were pulling their savings out of regular investments, where Banks, Companies can go bankrupt, and putting it into Art. With the feeling that during a recession it was safer to have your money in art, on the wall, there for you to see! Rather than just a number on a piece of paper that might suddenly disappear.
Could we see the same happen again in the coming year?

Some prices are overrated ( the patch, the Speedballs etc : everybody got them in The last decade ) and some others underrated…
in fact it seems that bidders were looking for something special before all.
Anyway, as for Banksy, I have the impression since Covid etc .. that prices of street artworks are going down or stayed lazy in a low market… 
there is just the hype a bit high by now, but what will it be in 10 years or even 5 years.
Great collectors are looking for uncommon old pieces I think…

Well in auction you only need two collectors who wants something to obtain a strong result. 
It is true that we have been surprised by certain results in ou last Invader Exclusive Auction (such as the Speedballs). 

However, Invader's market have been evolving in the good way for the past decade, with a special interest in the past two years probably related to his exhibitions and auction results. 
Overall, we have seen that Invader's is part of more and more collection and that there is a very high demand for his work at the moment from collectors all around the world!

I really like the Rubik Space 2005, rare to see for sale nice size and classic Invader .
The set of 6 cubes auction should be fun Faculté de réunion is new to me !
The lots 31/32/33/34 are subject to a Faculté de réunion.
If the bids of the 4 lots are over-bided by the bid of the lot 34B,
the previous provisory bidding are cancelled and the total lot of

Don't know if others are experiencing the same thing, and I have never used the Drouot platform before - but this auction was completely non-functional for me (here in the US). Same on both the app and online. The video and audio are on a massive delay, so you have no idea where the auction actually is and cannot read the bidding. They appeared to be allowing cut bids in the room but not online. I was bidding on Kung Fu and then it just suddenly ended - no warning, no last call, etc. Just closed at the bid. Tried to take a run at Repetition Variation but similar issues.

There should be no excuses for poor online auction bidding service . Digard you are losing bidders by using Drouot.

I imagine they will be up in the next day or so. Generally they were low to mid estimate. Impossible to tell if this was affected by access to online bidding.
