It's to say. Everybody expected him to sell tones of the NHS charity edition and the final numbers were quite modest if I remember correctly. These one are much more expensive.

Subjective opinion: if you love it, and plan to hang it, buy it. 10 years down the line, it could look like a shrewd investment. Worst case scenario, you have a whopping great big Hirst to show-off!
The secondary market tends to get oversaturated post release on timed editions - offering small to negative returns for the majority of purchasers looking to make an immediate and sizeable buck.
There are plenty of speculators with buckets of capital who can take the risk - short or long term - but if you’re worrying about the financial pinch, I’d recommend only buying if you’re comfortable keeping it for the long haul 👍

Buy it if you like the artwork. As an investment...you could do a lot better than buying these.

Buy it if you like the artwork. As an investment...you could do a lot better than buying these. |
