Futura suing North Face, by Yeah Yeah Yeah Round2 on Jan 16, 2021 6:35:04 GMT 1, FutureLight on itโs own shouldnโt be a problem for The North Face. The Atom on itโs own shouldnโt be a problem either? Putting them together is very naive on the designers part as I canโt imagine anyone that high up in a creative industry that wouldnโt at least be aware of Futura.
FutureLight or FuturaLabs - his team is trying to resurrect his old brand and he would most definitely like to tap into the JDSports market.

Futura suing North Face, by flatcolor on Jan 16, 2021 8:09:55 GMT 1, It's his brand, his right to take the steps he(or his team) deem prudent to protect it.
He's not some new jack on the scene, he is building a legacy and the problem that has been around graffiti for FAR too long is that people don't give it(or the artists) the respect it deserves. Corporate entity after entity has tried to make money off of the back of it(graffiti) for street cred or the cool factor, but if any artist tries to stand their ground it's selling out or some bullshit like that.
As far as this comment someone else posted above "On a more general note, doesn't everybody rip off everybody else on the urban art scene?"
No, everybody doesn't rip off everyone. Toys and clowns rip people off. People rip off Futura because he is an original
