Only difference with the signed is the plastic cover is signed and numbered, really can't see how this can warrant double the price.

there's really no point in buying a signed one unless you're a hoarder & don't plan to frame it

this is the nicest kit for a while imo, classic looking

just bought this one but cant afford to keep my 3rd eye invader. if anyone was it, they can have it for 175GBP - cheaper than ebay (i'll make my own thread for it)

indeed. was my first but i prefer the colour of this one. i dont understand the need to buy the signed ones though. really doesnt seem worth it, do ppl actually open their signed kits?

Im a sucker for INVADER its a classic and a great project in Vienna. Dont miss the signed mag now sold out at subotron so give Inoperable gallery a shout 30-40 euros. Anyone notice INVADER print prices fly up after the Sotheby saturday sale ?

i'd got third eye signed and just picked up this one, i've not openned it and i'm not sure how to display it - i've seen a few framed up but it defeats the point of having a signed one which is kind of your point!

although i figure that if you're going to get an unsigned one you could almost get away with the bootleg ones on ebay...

Seems the signed has now sold out. I also don't get why you would spend double on a signed as you end up having a signed plastic bag and can't display the piece properly. I think this one is very nice and therefore pretty tempting. I only have one other at the moment and as it says above you can always find space for one of these babies ;D

With the Euro so strong and the hike up in pricing I think this is going to be one I will need to think about rather than just press the buy button

I think this is his best kit for a while, got myself an unsigned this morning

It will go really well with the signed magazine with the same design on.. link to this somewhere on here!

Surrounding the signed/unsigned I got one of each of the Third Eye but ended up selling on the signed one for the simple reason that it seemed a huge mark up for the signature on the front, I agree too that the unsigned ones can be framed up really nicely wheras the signed ended up in a drawer and not really appreciated

Exactly the reason why I never snapped one of these up either Craig. Bit of a shame really as an IK has been on 'my list' for a while now.

I agree with the comments on the signed version too. Defeats the point of displaying the kit properly.
