Invader • Invasion Kits IK, by Curley on Aug 9, 2007 21:41:07 GMT 1, im also waiting on mine. i was going the have a piece of mount board cut so that it would fit in without having to remove the sticky backing and then put mount board on the rear to hold it in. have the mountboard cut to the size of a cheap habitat/ikea frame and finish myself.

Whatever I do, I'll place the instructions sheet on the back of the frame. Shame 5 and 6 are a different ppi. Would love a 3rd as I tend to like things in odd numbers...

I really like these as a funky little piece, but i always think if i decide i want one i will make a large scale version myslef! 
Just seems all too achievable! am i missing a trick as iv never seen one in the flesh, I really like the retro'ness (<English dictionary take note) and would look class in my bedroom or bathroom

Yep £3.99 frame from "au naturel". stuck to glass with 2 component resin glue took out back of frame (painted white), put glass back in without backing board... hung on nail in wall...
invasion successful = 80 points...
(can take pics of back of frame if badly explained...)

don't know, not cheap for a bunch of tiles. wasn't impressed initially when got it but v.happy now "framed". also can be hung in bathroom/outside....etc

Even thought about buying loads of rubik cubes and doing the rubic Kubrick (Alex). I know it sounds dodgy - but its not as if Id pass it on as an original.

(ok. im bracing myself for some intense negativing of respect.)
but yeah he's one of my favourites... it really makes me smile finding them... me and my girlfriend went down to cannnes and saw them and it really put a big smile on our faces... we even saw them in hongkong 2 years ago!

I like em.
