I got a reply that my request was sent further, and if any is still available they will come back to me. That was last week and no word since.

Apparently this print is being allocated by 3 seperate galleries, the Kitchen is just passing names along. With 76 total prints in the edition, it'll be interesting to see how many people without relationships with those galleries get offered.

I’ve still not had any follow up but notice New Art Editions just listed the sale a day or so ago so can’t have sold out yet. I have bought from The Kitchen before so hoping that might count for something. Plus it’s not one of his text pieces so wonder if demand will be more subdued.

Confirmed The Kitchen is just passing on names to Luhring Augustine, Greene Naftali, and Petzel Gallery. Sounds like all three have already allocated their allotments.

Welll, maybe in Wool’s case that’s true. I believe that the Black Book pages I have are offsets.

No lithos are better than screenprints. You talked about them like a secondary quality. Google the process of a litho..

$2500 feels like a pretty good price for the size of print and edition.

What do you mean by this statement? Better for some forms of drawing maybe but not for everything.

People confuse lithograph and offset lithograph.  A proper stone lithograph done by masters, such as what Universal Limited Art Editions does, is a fantastic thing. To me, offset lithographs are barely artwork at all (with exception for when that is an artist's medium).

If Jasper Johns was happy to do offset lithos with them, I believe these should be fine

I received mine over the Christmas break and it’s now with the framer. Not due back for 6 weeks.

It’s an absolute beauty though!
