Which a few here were able to collect from so it is possible

At the moment it is more work for his team hand delivering them around estates that did not receive , turning more so into self pr for his site ?

As I presume you were well dressed and not in the attire of the average homeless person and probably had a glaze in your eyes at being excited of finding a paper 👀😬😂With a high drug abuse rate in the area , locals probably thought you were on that drug spice / mamba , normal looking people end up doing some crazy stuff on that 😮when i went to the town hall to collect papers they had mass undercover drugs raids throughout the town all day

Helped by some “creative” lighting I think.
Not sure how the main folds seem to have gone, but the lighter crease along the bottom half is still slightly visible!?

Am I alone in liking or not minding the folds in posters? Saw the recent laz release of save or delete framed up I thought it looked great with the slightly worn edges and folds. Tells more of a story in my opinion

I went to Habitat the other day and found that they're slightly too snug and so you may end up with the edges being crushed a bit? maybe i'm wrong but i'm going for these with a 1cm breathing space in diameter and they're the perfect fit...I've seen signed ones in the Habitat ones and it covers it slightly. 

Here's the spec if anyone is interested. The frame is a glossy white so I think you can change that and the colour etc but the sizing is perfect i'd say...and £30 all in with delivery.

(Only been offered 1 newspaper, and not 5 to come along, waiting for a picture of 5 and explanation to how the owner got hold of all 5.)


EDIT: I see the same seller on eBay (escuuk6) have sold multiple set before via auction.
Would this be alarming or setteling to most of you?
Different pictures everytime is a good thing, but is he just beeing smart and ripping people off?

Those don’t look quite right to me Shagga. The folds look a bit suspect. But so hard to tell with these photos. Good luck buddy.

But on closer inspection, the thickness of the paper doesn’t look too bad. A few creases that I imagine would be harder to get with thicker paper of the known fakes.

Sorry again, really not much help, just goes to show how difficult to authenticate.

Maybe they come from the stolen ones, they are really mint and seem legit. Something similar happened to me. I bought the set about a week before it was told that some had been stolen. I reported Stik, he asked me to send him all the info about the seller (magically disappeared) and the purchasing. I also asked him if he wanted them back, and he told me not to send him, I could keep them. Now I have a legit and legal mint set ✌🏼

And my set had only just one paper too

Of course it may come from trades. But not when you sell one every week... and if that is so, the seller can provide information about his tradings if needed

Have compared the pictures as best I can with the fake set mentioned erlier in this thread, these seem closer to the real thing then fake.

Are the "fold pattern" random, or can some of that give them away?
I see some are folded with the creas "going downwards" the left side and "popping out" on the right. 
All I have seen have the "mid crease" moving downwards.

About the stealing:

I bought them from many different people. I was trying to gather all colours to make sets as I knew that they would be valuable in a short time. I was convinced that sellers I bought from are residents (or second owners) who are not big funs of art. Shame some been stolen. And since the news came out I’ve seen that prices going up, which is a madness. I won’t buy any more even for a deal.

With the answers you can’t be sure if they came from there or not. So I just reported Stik. He was gathering information, and he and his team (and the police) will be able to know what is truth and what is not

For the money they look ok. But I don't see spacers of any sort, which makes me wonder if these poster/prints are pressed against the glass. That might be good for flattening, but not sure it's great for the long term health of the print.

Also not entirely comfortable with the corner joins. I know this is kinda standard but sometimes you're looking for above standard, (btw I'm still considering trying easyframe out)

Would be good to see some pics as that was my worry that the sig would be covered up. These pics are my mates, I haven't pushed the button myself yet as they are pressed against the acrylic so that is holding me back at the moment so i'm still on the fence but maybe the habitat ones are the better option...

Shagga all the creases should be the same. They were mechanically folded.
