Bugger all difference on the two main folds other than flattening the sheet. There’s no undoing those! I posted a pic a few pages back of the orange framed, should give you an idea of what to expect 🤙

to be able to flatten the sheet is still something, it means it sits well within a frame. Depending on how well you can flatten and frame I guess they would also be possible to float mount

I just ordered mine yesterday taking advantage of the 25% off. I went with the black Aluminus frame and I think I’m just keeping the glass as is to be honest. The reflections might end up annoying me (we will see) but it’s going to be sat out of direct light and it’s inexpensive enough for me not to be too worried about it. I also don’t know how the glass is affixed within the frame so will wait to see if it’s loose. I’m imagining it will be.

Is anyone adding a conservation/archival backing board to it? If so, what would anyone recommend?

I ordered the same. Wasn't considering a backing tbh but was wondering about a mount to keep it off the glass.
