Do people think these types of Posters were ever from an officially produced run? I mean who printed them in the first place? I guess the record company do a run at the time of release, but I can remember places like HMV selling racks of music posters including Blur Think Tank, so the question is are they all printed still via the record company and then sent out to the record shopsor do HMV just get them printed up as and when the demand is there?
What do you think?
We probably have a lot of members here involved in the music industry, so it will be interesting to here what the real situation is regarding these types of band posters.

Are these still being prints and sold anywhere even today?

Had one properly framed as a housewarming gift for a friend.

There are tons of fake ones around. There should be a years old discussion on how to spot them (beside the obvious blue back).

Why are the ones with a blue back considered sus?

Genuine ones have the blue back, but it has been mentioned that there are possible fakes around that also have blue backing.

They are bus stop advertising posters. Someone sold them on eBay years ago for £40ish each

the mind boggles at what people pay for shitty fake dirty funker, dj dm etc records when official stuff like this can be had for far far less, and these posters are 15 times bigger than a 12" record sleeve

You might want to specify a preferred size as there are some fantastic bus stop sized posters around if your budget stretches to it.
