But the seller did not choose his return as one cannot predict. He is just hoping for as much as possible and may or may not be happy with the outcome.

Interesting to see if people still go for the sniping style bids, at the end of an auction when offloading tens or hundreds of thousands... in recent online auctions I have seen (think one was Sotheby's as well) there have been last second bids but it doesn't work as if a bid is made in late on the bid is accepted but the auction gets extended by 5 minutes or so. I cant recall the exact timing details but basically if you "snipe it" then all you will succeed in doing is extending the auction ! |

I think those that have a good provenance history from trusted board members will always pull in a premium. |

Plus the OHP (+ VAT) + Artist's re-sale. Looks like lv90210 is about ยฃ20k off in his calcs. Does this mean he got his sums wrong on the other prints in his buyer's price list too? |
