Hammer price was $105000 plus fees was $126000 I beleive. I just could be asked working out poster fees

International Art Centre Auctions • New Zealand, by lpmatt on Nov 18, 2020 2:50:58 GMT 1, Too many at one auction in little NZ. And I know there is more stock in the back that is being reframed for the next auction early next year. When compared to the previous few sales, a lot of these prints sold for less. Could be an indication that the marketing is softening.. or that a market correction is on the horizon? The buyer who paid approx $120k (nzd) for Soup Can unsigned back in August watched this one sell for $72k. He ended up winning 'Laugh Now' at the auction last night.

Could be a market softening. Could also just be reflective of it being too many at one auction in little NZ, as you said.

International Art Centre Auctions • New Zealand, by fusion0001 on Nov 18, 2020 9:00:10 GMT 1, I think it is worth to keep in mind that the August Soup Can sale for 72kGBP all-in simply made no sense at all. The buyer overpaid 2x for it vs what he could have got in a private sale.
It does seem however that this time the auction was much more in line with global pricing, while past few times there were always pieces at premium.

International Art Centre Auctions • New Zealand, by jakecskis on Nov 18, 2020 22:13:04 GMT 1, I think it is worth to keep in mind that the August Soup Can sale for 72kGBP all-in simply made no sense at all. The buyer overpaid 2x for it vs what he could have got in a private sale. It does seem however that this time the auction was much more in line with global pricing, while past few times there were always pieces at premium.
Perhaps there were condition issues with the underperforming pieces? TM appeared to have stains along the lower boarder.
