To tip you over the edge. Kinsey's screenprints are superb in the flesh - really bold colours and very very well printed. They smell great too.

Plus the service from Blk/MKT is excellent. Delivery is very speedy (generally about 10 days from order to delivery even in the UK!) and the prints are very well packaged.

Hmm interesting thread... whilst I agree that each artist/individual needs to create his/her own unique style and then really make it their own, I feel from the last few prints that I have seen released that there is no real progression here. They seem very derivative of the last, maybe Dave is just exploring different processes, which is cool, however I think he should explore a more cereberal/conceptual path (this goes for faile too). I love Kinsey's prints, and would love to have got hold of one, but now I feel i can just wait for the next and I won't have 'missed out'... they' re almost like frames in an animated sequence. I am excited to see the reaction following his Laz show next year. He's definitely one of those artists who is recieved much better in the States. I would love for him to take off in the UK though (and Hecox as well)...

I find Kinsey's work far more interesting than AM's work that everyone seems to gush over. Just my opinion.

I don't think that the latest print is his best - it's a bit too close to 'Momentum' for me. Hoping that one of these is the next print:

I'd like to reiterate that the quality of Kinsey's prints are superb, and for the price, they are about as good as you are going to get...that said...
Kinsey has really grown on me this year. As far as exploring a more cerebral path, I'd say that Kinsey is making some of the strongest prints conceptually at the present time. "Terminal Solipsism"? Can you show me a print that's more cerebral than that? It's not like its a rat with a ghetto blaster or a minotaur covered in logos. His prints have some serious depth to them. "Saboteur" and "Not A Gun" are two of the strongest prints I've seen/purchased this year.

I think this print is excellent and is a more colourful rendition then previous releases... Once Dave Kinseys works are framed and displayed together they look awesome as a complimentary set, because of their matching styles and colours, recommend to purchase whilst the prices are below £80 as they seem to be getting higher with each new release!

I still say these are a great value for the price. Much better than half the crap out there at a much larger price. His originals are selling for nice money and I think he could justify more for his prints but the prices are great. Kind of refreshing in light of what others are charging.

I like it a lot, plus it was under £3k which for a Kinsey original is amazing value in my book. Also, i bought a jesse reno original from blk/mrkt too for £475! its 24" by 24". It arrived last week (the one called 'cursed', I would recommend his work, they look really nice in person, plus you can get one for the cost of some prints

I love Kinseys work but I must say that is certainly not the best Kinsey I have ever seen. Probably why it was under £3k no doubt.
The Jesse Reno is much nicer, might be tempted myself, very reasonable.

I didnt go for the price mate, i dare say i could afford any kinsey in existance. I got the pick of the show and bought that one before any of it went on sale and without knowing any of the prices. But i respect your opinion.

Oh and by the way, that one is the artists favourite too, i found out after i bought it, its been hanging in his office. Also, i doubt any artist will think 'this is shit, so i will charge less for it'. I think you will find it goes more on canvas size

I have never really seen Kinsey's work before. IMO, the one you bought is the nicest one on there. I much prefer abstract stuff like that. Where it suggests some something rather than making it obvious. Far more interesting.
