Thierry Noir and Mr doodle are related..

This forum gave those 2 artist a lot of visibility and there is nothing wrong with that when it comes from real UAA members that loves art.

But it is odd when a person working for the artist management get a fake account on here just to hype for making more sells... and I'm sure this was happening with both of them.

I might be wrong but from what happened to my commission with Thierry Noir I strongly believe this is all about money and pushing sales.

yes I did sell both artist from my collection AFTER what happened to me with TN and because I do not want anymore pieces of those 2 artists in my collection.

there are works in my collection that I will NEVER sell.... well sorry if I don't like anymore the artists you hype.

And believe me when I say that I buy much more art then the few pieces you see selling me on here.

Anyway, Mr. D has jumped the shark for me, quickly making his works inaccesible and overpriced - especially since they're pretty simple
For me I've always liked his style, but I don't see anything deeper or witty (I was sure this would happen with time) and the prices have become silly

I've met him before and he was very nice, not sure the management he has is great - but hey he is making bank so good for him

(I'm still a little bitter for being told by his manager a piece I have by him is a fake when it isn't mind)

it is a shame because I thought they were Cool artists before they get managed so badly that they need one person from their team to come here (UAA) under a fake account to see and control what collector says about them.

Bang on. Too expensive. Too big having 9 editions of 300. At $1500 a pop

This will probably sell out ok. But going forward people will move on

I do really like some of Mr Doodles work, such as his PacMan piece and also the London Underground one too. Some of the newer stuff like Heartland and Alien Town just isn’t for me, I prefer the intricate work. These new ones just don’t float my boat at all

You can find 10% of his 300 Alien Town prints on ebay, with some of them not so much over release price. In my opinion this release is too expensive, but we will see within the next few days...
