Why are there lots of unrelated threads in the "how do I" section?
You're usually quite strict about which sections threads are started in, but there does seem to be alot of threads there that dont seem to have anything to do with "how do I" type things.
Surely your not moving them into a seldom used / out of the way section? If not I cant imagine how they got there from the general boards.

IMO flippers are parrasites of the art world, but at the same time if a print does sell out you can get them-and after the first sale they drop in price, so its not worth flipping a flip-always buy what you like

The Truth (for people interested) -
Years ago I got ONE unsigned un-numbers banksy print off ebay, and sold it again on ebay about six months later clearly stating what it was. Please note ONE print.
Years ago I had bought a few multiples of banksy prints at a time when people were not really interested in his work. Years later I sold some to enable me to buy other pieces of art that I would otherwise never be able to afford.

Those are the FACTS. Now lets here Weaver twist those round to look like something else Weaver? ;D

Thanks for sharing your own personal backdoor sales tales ( are you sure thats all of them though? ), not sure why you felt the need, as I hadnt mentioned anything about you and backdoor prints, and really dont know why you'd think that I'd be too bothered, never mind try to twist ( your words?) what you said, but always good to hear about people buying multiple prints and backdoor prints to sell. I didnt once use the word flipping either, that'd be you cheif ( but still wondering why you were buying multiple coppies of prints ?? I remeber a certain iron tortoise getting a very poor reception here when he admitted to buying multiple prints to sell on)

Not one to be twisting threads silky, unlike yourself, but even if i was i'd be hard pressed to to make you admitting to buying and selling backdoor prints, and buying multiple coppies of prints to sell on ( I can see why youd be buying multiple prints to collect?) as anything other than it was.

Thought you were putting forward rhetorical examples regarding free speach whilst speaking with G, thought I'd add one in. If these are not rhetorical, are you sure that G mugs ladies to fund his habbit?

They were easily available, nobody seemed to want them, and if it enabled me to be able to swap and buy art in the future that I would never be able to afford. I have never had lists of stuff up for sale like you will see everyday on the Your Trades section on this forum.

They are threads about the running of the forum and not art related, or threads that started as being art related but were hijacked and turned into slagging matches by people with god knows what agendas.

I remember the days, I bought alot of individual prints at the time and have a very nice collection as a result, leaving the excess prints available for others to buy ( I think your ascertation that no-one seemed to want them might be a bit simple as banksy was steadily growing in popularity at the time ( late 04 -mid 05), if no-one seamed to want then as you say, why buy them?). But you seem happy to admit to buying multiple prints soley to sell on.
You occasionally mention the lack of Banksy pieces in your collection, but seamed to have had the prefect oportunity to establish an excellet collection. I'm sure I'm not alone in wanting to see some pics of the lovely pieces in your collection that the sale of these multiple pieces assisted with. I'm always keen to see some nice pieces.

I guess if you can afford to be able to have prints worth thousands on your wall thats great! but I, and Im sure a lot more people on here cant really do it. If your in a position to be able to buy the top quality pieces every time, and never have to sell anything to enable you to buy them then your very very lucky.
