I have a bookshelf space issue though. Not fun.

Would certainly recommend the Alex James autobiography if you haven't read it, one of the best music autobiographies I have read.

I too received the Jarvis Cocker poster, but just checked, my book wasn't signed? Cant recall if this was the deal or not?

I emailed them to let them know that my book wasn't signed. They replied and said it was only the poster that was signed, but apologised saying that is was obviously very unclear as they'd been inundated with messages about unsigned books! 

I'm only on Chapter Two, but it's a great read so far though.

I guess everyone received Jarvis book with the poster folded around the book   surely something smaller that fitted inside the books packaging would have been a better option

Picked mine up at Rough Trade so luckily my poster was not used as wrapping paper. :-)

Only saw that the book is unsigned when arriving at home, my order clearly stated “signed book”. Rough Trade offered me to send it back, which I did. Bought a signed one off the bay for just under 30gbp so not too bad after all

Likewise a2b, was a shocking bit of packaging.

That said, unleashed my patented leaving it in my steamy bathroom for 20 minutes, then over the weekend between some MDF board, and now flatter than a pint at my local during 'Happy Hour'. 

Nice little poster mind, and really looking forward to reading the book - appreciate the post EKAP.

I think it’s quiet on here because of the lack of mobile version and the eBay links every time someone mentions a artist. It makes for really uncomfortable reading and posting on a mobile. I don’t enjoy the experience now. Just my opinion tho some may prefer it.

This book means a lot to me as i was a sponsored skater for Sewerside in the late 90's, Skating all over England, doin illegal raves, festivals, causing a ruckus, meeting tons of artists, skaters, musicans, dj's...etc
+one of the characters in the book is based on me haha which is pretty funny

I am just reading one of Dave Haslam's 'mini books', and noticed one of the series looking at Keith Haring, and how the nightlife, music, clubs etc were around NY at the time, seems quite interesting? Only circa £8.

Really enjoying the current book, well written, and will definitely look forward to reading this -

Just ordered and received The Undoing by Wade Guyton - listed in the shop under "Books", but essentially a portfolio of 26 8x10 prints on thick card relating to his latest show, with an additional signed & numbered sheet. Edition of 440, $300.

Not one for the flippers, but if you like Guyton, I think it's pretty great bang for the buck.
