Popped over to Urban Nation in Berlin on Saturday and picked up the Martha Cooper - Taking Pictures book. Awesome exhibition and really nice book.

We missed the signing as we were at the Pejac - Apnea opening but when I asked they had some signed copies left over under the counter so if you're over that way and looking for one it's worth asking.

And the book is still not available since flippers bought them by packs ! lot of coveting/lying persones on here.

Otherwise the printer/editor in Spain is very honest.

Miss it at the time too, if you heard back in stock I'll be the first to order one. Sometimes I look on amazon or internet but the prices still high from secondary markets

I’m really angry that you can’t catch one ! All these flippers buying dozens at very low prices does not merit any signature by Pejac ! I saw some books at 250/300 euros.. all wankers, shame on them and poor guys !

Both show an early interest, they are 11 and 9, and I would ideally like something perhaps more of an 'overview', rather than a specific artist?

If you want them to have a street feel, Ador’s book is lovely and a lot of fun.
If that isn’t a must, a nice book about the work of Henri Rousseau will be a pleasure for them and any adults. His naive jungle scenes are full of vibrant colours and images and it would be a cold heart that isn’t delighted by them.

I bought this and read it regularly with my 10 year old.
It covers the whole history of art, a few pages per theme.
We don’t do it chronologically though - my daughter picks whatever she finds interesting and then we read about it.
