Sotheby's London Banksy auction 13th Mar-26th March, by LJCal on Mar 11, 2020 23:26:50 GMT 1, Timed auctions but they’ll only allow one print from an edition to run at the same time. So if they end up with say 6 people wanting to sell Very Little Helps you’ll have to wait your turn until the other auctions have concluded. That’s how it’s working is it? That’s what you know? You’re not going to wait long to find out. I’ve heard that 2nd hand but I’m pretty certain it’s accurate

This is all rumour, fyi I don’t work for pest control so obviously, I’m confident that’s how it’s going to work but don’t sue me if it follows a different format

Sotheby's London Banksy auction 13th Mar-26th March, by sbash on Mar 11, 2020 23:32:29 GMT 1, Just saying, but if I had and wanted to sell a high value Banksy piece (which I don't sadly!) I would most definitely go for the big auction houses without question, rather than through Banksy BBay or whatever that becomes.... because I'm certain that would fetch a higher price than the Banksy route....

BBAY isn't an auction at all.
It's a boot fair, held every sunday at 8 am at various TBC locations around the country. Its set up around the old acid house scene, you get a number......
the prize for the first 100 people every sunday to limited edition smiley face, the colourways change every week, and a TDK cassette with good music and some clues to the next location

Agreed a live auction at a posh auction house will flush out higher Calibre buyers. I expect BBay will be useful for a lot of people selling and buying prints though

Now we're talking! This is how it should be done. I've got my acid shirt on, my whistle round me neck and a vicks up my nose, bring it on😎

Just a heads up. I’m not at all embarrassed and your opinion of me really doesn’t bother me so why don’t you jog on.
