Daniel Arsham at Selfridges London, by whatilike on Oct 22, 2019 15:57:00 GMT 1, Went past and had a look today. Assuming they’re eking out the supply of soup cans, because there were only a few on the shelf and most were dented. Guessing they’ll be in the reduced aisle soon, with the soon-to-expire ready meals.
The Christmas decorations are cute.

Daniel Arsham at Selfridges London, by cocos on Oct 22, 2019 17:25:37 GMT 1, Just been down. No soup left! They said the 6000 cans need to last until the end of the exhibition (as they form a key part of the display) so they have a quota for each week. I was told to try again next week.

Daniel Arsham at Selfridges London, by gd79 on Nov 8, 2019 16:47:56 GMT 1, Went yesterday. No cans. Some posters that weren't too exciting. I bought a snow globe which I liked, although more just because than for the Arsham name.
Some decent signed and limited bonsai prints, though I don't think available yet. Only saw small pics of them on the store guide to the display

they usually have a set allocation of soup cans to sell per day; would recommend going earlier to get
interesting to hear about the prints - do you know if they are the same design as the bonsai plates?

Daniel Arsham at Selfridges London, by gd79 on Nov 8, 2019 22:02:14 GMT 1, I was there on opening, happened to be passing. Oh well, not a biggie.
Yes, the prints in the sales sheet were the same as the plates. I only saw it briefly, and upside down, but they seemed to be 500 quid and in 2 designs. I may be off the mark though as I didn't ask about them.
Behind the counter, they have a set of A4 stapled pages with details on sales targets, how many they have of each item to sell, when different things reach the shop etc - I saw them in there while she was flicking through checking something for me

Just FYI, went in to Selfridges this morning and when I tried to buy a snow globe they said they’re withdrawing them from sale because they’ve had quite a few leaking.
Guess you can decide whether you now have a rarer piece of Arsham or want to return it, but might be an idea to move it away from anything valuable it might leak on.
Shame they’ve had faults because it’s actually quite a lovely thing.

Low quality is nothing new from this artist

Yup. When they told me I was not surprised, having heard stories of the shonky quality of other things he’s released.

Thanks! A shame. Annoying, it's a nice, heavy, solid thing. Much less nice with drip marks over it! I'll keep it off the new sofa then

there's a bag, clock, dior logo basketball, dior telephone but the best imo was a set of dior letters. there are some early versions of all them on his ig.

I know, doesn’t mean they don’t put them back. Maybe just one batch is faulty. Who knows
