The first place you must report to is your local police station. Make a statement and give all the info/I.D you have on him.

The U.K police will only investigate if the value is £65,000 or more (Scotland Yard Art Fraud)

They will tell you to make a report on Action Fraud U.K. (By phone or online)

Then if they have a few people making claims against this guy they might look into it. 
This should be done as this guys name is popping up a bit, so maybe he was reported before.

I didn't buy anything from him, I gave him £ 2000 because he told me and promised that we would collaborate to buy a Banksy painting and the money from the profit we would split 50/50, so theoretically I didn't buy any designs from him

Yea we are doing this now and we do have all emails invoices chats etc etc and the spray can

You must report it to your own local police station FIRST, as this will be where all the statements will have to be made, and replied to from the U.K

They will not process anything until you report it to your local station

Hi all especially Tom who sent me this forum by link as we was the one that purchased the spray can of chris Hardie for our museum with as it seems fake paperwork and a extremely good copy of the real thing it actually got past us and on display. There’s egg on our face for sure 🤦‍♀️ We will be now taking action 1st thing and also we will be passing the details from the Italian guy that has also given chris Hardie his money so if you can email me direct your details I will pass these also over to the police and hopefully they will be able to get you your money back. Thanks all for letting me know especially as this can will not ever see the light of day again unless it’s held by the Welsh police for evidence. If anyone has purchased anything from chris Hardie Banksy or anything else please email me directly to my email [e-mail] and I will pass your details to the police and then they can either contact you directly to try and get your money back. The difference between Italy being scammed and being in the midlands is we’re only a 2 hour drive away from him. I can also say if it wasn’t for listing on eBay we would of never have known about this and could of been years till this came to light

A good reminder to all to file reports...no matter how small the fraud. The fraudsters are banking on the claims being so small that they keep doing it without fear from authorities.

Hi thanks to Achilles for emailing me direct with details and documents etc you may be in Italy mate but I will have your back here in the uk. If anyone else has been conned by chris Hardie please let me know as I will pass all details to the uk police so they know exactly what he has done. The worst bit is he has even used his own photo I’d on everything and the same bank details was used by chris for us and also Achilles. For everyone that did have a bid on this can on eBay. You may get the idea that it will probably be not listed on there ever again and will be with our police within the next 48 hours. This piece even convinced us it was real with all paperwork. I think it’s time chris has a little holiday with her majesty’s pleasure after he has paid some people back

It's also a reminder to stop trying to find a "deal" on a Banksy. Pest control exists for a reason. But the same guy tried to sell me a spray can on Instagram.
Chris from Wales, couldn’t send pics as the can was in a storage unit and he couldn’t go to the unit due to travel restrictions in Wales.
Then a big story about his wife being seriously ill, but a couple of week later the hospital miraculously mixed up the results and she was fine.

Then his account got hacked. Then he got Covid. Etc. Etc.

Are you sure you run a museum? This thread was started in October 2019.

If you go on the GDP site, it says "We will not issue a Certificate of Authenticity for an item until the second anniversary of the date of purchase."

Now just doing some basic math here, the earliest you could possibly even assume you could get a COA would be October 2021...but that's just when the thread was started.

No COA’s on the can at all, or any of the other unlimited items.

Let's just assume you don't know about unlimited not having a coa. Bare minimum research would say nothing has a coa until late 2021 at the earliest. Anything from gdp being presented with a coa is 100 percent fake until that time.

If this is true, no COAs for these items is just going to increase the number of fakes and fraudsters. Caveat emptor.
