Bbay, The approved used Banksy dealership, by matp on Mar 6, 2020 23:52:00 GMT 1, As mentioned above, the Bbay_banksy Instagram page is a fake account. 100%. I have confirmation from faq@banksy.co.uk
I see quite a lot of familiar names are indulging in their post requests!

By the way, i don't promote Mrs Banksy work, i just saw she claimed responsibility for that was attributed by some websites as possibly being Banksy's work... And i shared the news/link.

Bbay, The approved used Banksy dealership, by moron on Mar 13, 2020 13:12:48 GMT 1, So I have heard the following from a couple of pretty reliable sources. BBaby will run timed auctions for each print, the buyers will consign with BBbay who will authenticate and provide condition reports etc and then manage the sale. They will only run one auction per print at a time, if they have a surplus of a certain print it will be first come first served and sellers will have to wait their turn. Clearly they are not wanting to flood the market with a certain print and deflate prices for sellers. Duration of auctions and if there will be a buy it now option have not been confirmed. It is believed that auctions will run throughout the year as and when items are consigned. They may do curated auctions from time to time. Fees are not yet confirmed but based on the amount of work and investment being made into this we are of the view they will be around 20% of the entire transaction, how these will be paid is again uncertain. It could be buyers premium, sellers fees or combination. They will be making a full statement in the next couple of months and the idea is that the site will be opperational soon after. I'm not sure I would bet my house on that given the delays to date with various projects but it's definately going to happen at some point this year and is not a hoax. Anyone else know more than this be interested to hear it. That makes sense.
Who will set the reserve price on Bbay? The seller or Bbay?
It could be the place to go for anything Banksy but as we all know. The rich people like to be seen spending money in places where other rich people gather such as Sotheby's etc etc.

If someone set up a fake VW (Volkswagen) etc account they would be quickly closed down.

I’m not sure about that. I’d guess the reserve would have to be mutually agreed like with an auction house, they’re unlikely to want to waste resources on trying to sell prints where the reserve is unrealistic.

And yet, they will flag my perfectly legitimate art account if I get too much promotion or attention without being “verified” or paying them enough to promote my art.

Bbay, The approved used Banksy dealership, by Greg on Jun 17, 2020 16:21:46 GMT 1, I think this will work and it will happen due to the potential royalties.
1 - It protects the buyer as any products sold on BBAY could be seen as being authorised by Pest Control. They could vet items being sold to ensure they're authentic items.
2- It would be easier for Banksy/team to accumulate royalties from work sold. The Artist's Resale Right means that artists could be entitled to a royalty each time their work is resold with the involvement of an auction house, gallery or dealer for €1,000 or more.
Most likely, profits going to charitable organisations etc
BBAY will happen!

The art for sale on the (for now) mythical legend of Bbay will be so far out of my reach but even I'm excited to see how it's all going to work.
If theres no sign of it by October I'm going to start second guessing that it will ever come to be.

If you patiently save up, maybe you can afford Peckham Rock postcard I don't think anything limited will be affordable there, but I would be cool if they have some unlimited stuff, old and new, available.

I bet he looks at this forum from time to time and shakes his head. just look back at when someone won the drones and posted on IG..experts said it was Photoshop
