Agree about not paying hundreds for one, but think photocopied fakes would be easy to spot. There's a very noticeable texture to the paint - I'm assuming they're screen-printed - which you surely wouldn't get with a photocopy?

They are screen printed.

Good old Lil Luis (multiple forum accounts apprint, barsukauk, artearte) telling absolute porkies to over-inflate the perceived value of his posters on the bay.

See he's also changed one of his 'bay accounts name from newartonline-gallery to arttime.

Curious as with all the Ebay listings and folk on here will to buy *a legit.  What do we as a collective feel the price of these print should be?  loaded question I know.  I'm going to stick my neck out and lay cards on the table:

Flowers - £250
Crisis - £180
Rat - £120

Feel free to correct me, raise or lower....  just wanted to cut through the nonsense and genuinely ask.  At least then we're all on the same page and now one being ripped off.

Flowers seems to be going up in cost as the deluge of prints on eBay subsides. Just look at the completed items on eBay and sort by those that ended date recent first.

ppl waited years for the opportunity to purchase a genuine screen print by Banksy, entered lotteries and travelled in the slim hope. Precious few got lucky. Then through a small time window he hands them out in the street for free in limited numbers, and classic artworks in many ways .. who doesn't love his rats.

Think people are panic buying as the initial flood dies down. There are still loads of rats up there, but the other two getting scarcer. Still wouldn't be surprised if Banksy makes them all available to download and deliberately kills the market, like he did with the Palestine poster.

It's got quite noticeable creases running down the sides where it's been rolled.

Any tips to remove/reduce them?

The rats alot are not genuine ,but hard to tell unless you have a genuine print to compare to ?

Maybe next person from here that sells one on ebay add the threads here as a link so people are aware?

Long run the rats will be the stronger and popular image out of the three released , typical banksy association .
Still not really many given out over the course of the opening, still alot of collectors / fans in other countries unaware of these releases so will constantly increase over the course of the shops opening unless more released .
Bargain compared to what people pay for unofficial records!

Mine has terrible creasing too ... doesn’t flatten out .. unlike the rat print

Be careful on eBay now. Seem to be a lot of fake rat prints and starting to see some fake flower throwers. I have asked slot of sellers for additional pictures and details, nearly all have refused.
Best one was a guy asking why I wanted more pictures, to which I replied "because there are fakes", and he replied back " I guarantee these are genuine. By the way how can you tell?", and promptly refused to send pictures.
Obviously I did not say what I was looking for.
Second best was " I am away and cannot take pictures until after auction has ended".
So be careful and use your good judgement and don't be afraid to ask lots of questions.

well said ajr. Also if you haven't done so already don't forget to report this guy as they've taken their activity to a new level by screen printing copies. Screen printing is something that tends to improve with practice.

on a positive note. Their fake rat that was being reported ended without it meeting starting bid of £225. It looks like it ended early, but don't have any way to tell if that was due to intervention by ebay.
