BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by DameHoracia on Aug 27, 2020 10:53:45 GMT 1, I’d still be scared. I’ve opened up frames done by so called reputable framers and seen some right butcher jobs done and spent a full day with a bottle of Zest It. Framer had big windows in his place and saw you coming I reckon. I think some framers see who the art work is by and base cost on that. So if it's a Banksy, you can afford that frame price. Who knows. Thankfully I have two really good framers, so I trust them. Imagine if you leave your art work with someone, they copy it and frame the copy and sell the original. How would you ever know? Well I guess if you have the gallery proof, but still.
Just thought I'd share one of my worst fears.... Imagine.

Mine was about $2700 USD. Should have it back in 2 weeks!

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by hazydavy on Aug 27, 2020 18:41:14 GMT 1, how much has been sold? I cannot see it on the site It sold for £95k plus 25% fees £95k + 25% buyer's premium + VAT (30% in total) plus 3-4% ARR (4% up to £50k, 3% above)
In other words, £95k + 30% + £3,350 = £126,850

Younger generationS may not be drawn towards old masters And although expensive to the average banksy collector ,banksy Art work is still cheap compared to art in their circles Banksy more relatable and discussed amongst the younger generations and Unless the artists makes a major mistake , there is a lot more money to come to the market

BANKSY Gross Domestic Product™, by notgaselectric on Aug 30, 2020 17:00:29 GMT 1, When you say application approved, do you mean the email reply from GDP confirming you entered the lottery? From there the draw was conducted where Banksys team drew a random date and time slot which whittled down the applicants to only those that applied during that small time window. A comedian chosen by Banksy then reviewed the answers to pick the subsequent winners by their answers to the ‘Does art Matter?’ qualifying question. . Those winners received an email, it congratulated you and provided you the option to ‘complete your purchase’ for the price listed on the shop website. Once payment was made in the time frame provided (think it was 7 days from memory) you got a further email confirming your order. It then went quiet for months until Flight Logistics the shipping company reached out with delivery details. That’s as detailed as I remember, if you have any specific further questions I’m happy to rack my brains... Thanks for responding. This is exactly what I was wondering. I only received the first email and now I can rest at ease and stop wondering and waiting. Would have been nice to been picked in the lottery. Oh well. Cheers. So for mine, it seems Flight Logistics was holding on it until I sent them a phone number. I received a response next day that it was shipped, so make sure you sent them everything they needed.

The photos of the clock in the listing don't match. Wary of that from the get-go. Also, the "D" in Domestic looks like a "B"... Anyone else check it out? But if it is real, awesome! I'm going to email the auction house.

Ya... the initial photo is not the right clock, the other ones looks better, but they could have easily taken them from elsewhere. Thanks.

Anyone else check it out? But if it is real, awesome! I'm going to email the auction house. The clock looks all wrong. Not sure on the can. The Welcome Mat could be there to rope people in so be very careful as you WON'T get your money back.
Check their terms/conditions and also ask for a 100% "in writing" money back guarantee. These types of auction houses won't give it to you.
Do not buy unless you get the okay from GDP you will need more information from the auction house for GDP to approve this.

Maybe ask the users that posted about winning clocks, but be CAREFUL

Thanks! I will. I guess I need to comb back to see who's won one on the forum, unless any of them are reading and want to add their two cents? I've emailed the auction house for more information. Will see what they say...

But the Rat is missing the finer spray and detail you get with the handouts. I thought that the screens used for clocks were meant to be the same as handout/giftprints

I think so too. The first photo is definitely a fake. Then there are others which look like the real one. So asking for more info.

It's the Black rim on the clock that looks wrong and why on this earth would the seller use this auction house.
Why would they agree to have these start prices on the can 750 & clock 2,500?
Then the start price on the mat 3,500. I know not everyone knows the value but the whole set up looks wrong.
