Lister is a long time buddy and deep down a warm happy unique individual, I've run into him all over the world and he has been at it for ages.... Most of his large murals done with roller only are exceptional for what he is working with.

Got a bunch of Lister works, but I m beginning to wonder if he's going anywhere at this point. His work hasn't evolved at all for a few years now, which aint a dealbreaker but his subjects and ideas are getting more and more boring to me.

He has been more consistent lately, but he killed his career early on when he thought he was invincible and pissed off a lot of good gallerists and collectors with lots of money.

He had platforms to show America his talent on a large scale, but he squandered those chances. In Miami for a satellite fair, he had carte blanche of a wall, and painted a piss weak superhero Mickey mouse. Then in NYC he had this container where he could have killed it, instead he painted it black and made a tiny rat next to an abandoned chair.

I really like that blue one. Agree with all the above on lister too. He went through a period where the work just wasn’t doing anything for me. The prints etc that came out through POW I really didn’t like. I think Lately thought his output has been getting stronger again.

If only I had some spare cash at the moment....

He had a breakout with Elms Lester. Then he was crap for a long time, but now he's got his mojo back. Unfortunately the market has moved on and left him behind.
